i think i might upgrade my battery just in case. better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it. i play my music pretty loud.

you guys think this amp will require any major electrical upgrades? i've got the big 3 done and a 2 farad rf cap but that's it. right now at full tilt my voltage doesn't drop below 13.4. if i have to get a battery or ho alt that'll suck. the car is an 08 scion xb btw.

i like the amp especially for the price. i think there might be a misprint on the speakers rms power handling. i'm pretty sure they can only take about 40 rms. you might want to give them a call and double check.

i buy tons of stuff on ebay. always use paypal and make sure the person you buy from has a lot of feedback and you should be good.

i should have specified outer fender but i'm pretty sure bassboy understood. you need a lower offset wheel. don't go nuts though. too low and tucking will get tricky.

lower offset means it'll be closer to the fender. from a +40 to a +38 means you'll be 2mm closer to the fender. measure the clearance you need and order wheels with a proper offset to ensure you aren't rubbing. rubbing on the fender is an easy fix, get em rolled or stretch your tires and you should be fine.

word of advice. DON'T GO CHEAP ON THE HEADUNIT. the headunit and install are the 2 most important things in any set up.

you can do a decent set up for less. if you can do the install yourself, you can save a whole lot. what kind of car do you drive and how do you like to listen to music? are you more into quality or just pounding?

are they straight spl subs? i don't compete ever and i'm not trying to beat down the block. i just like my music a little louder than the average person but i need it to sound pretty good as well. sound quality is as important as volume to me. and which model in particular would you recommend?
