That would be your cheapest option. Like a old briggs motor or something. -
I have dealt with prime series amps. And it my experince with them being class A/B they will get warm or slightly hot. Nothing you can do. What I have found that fixes protecting issues when it gets really hot is a bad ground. Or too long of a ground. After I fixed that the amp has never been better. Oh and setting the gains correctly helps too. 4 gauge is plenty.

That's exactly how they get power from the alt up front lol. -
I derped. LOL! I guess when it's off it's rear but when it's on it defaults to sub. All good! Lmfao. I feel dumb.

'There is no mode to switch lol. It says DEQ/rear/subwoofer output. There is no setting on the unit to switch to subwoofer. Old ass video but gives you what I got to work with.

Relocated my PAC level controller so I had to remove the radio. Turns out that the rear/subwoofer is on the same RCA.
