lol? The 8800 is not a monster at all, it barely draws power off the psu it draws more off the bus. You can power an 8800 off of a 350 watt power supply. Does the mother board have on board video, I assume it does if you had the option in the bios for the initial display. Plug it into the motherboard and set that as initial display. Or if you already did I guess check your other bios settings that maybe when quick boot is on you don't see the manufacturer display and boot up. Yes i do have a on board video card, I have my PCIE set as default when i go to my bios. Its like my computer doesn't recognize that the video card is plugged in.

I tested my pcu won't a power tester and the pcu is fine, I think I am just going to buy another motherboard.

I have a after market psu it's 600watts I will have to look up the brand when I get home, and I have tryed the uninstall drivers and unplug and reinstall and it still is not working. Edit: I am using the 4 pin that came with the psu.

I have tryed that already, and it is on pci-e and it still doesn't work.

Yes it is still doing this, I was going to buy a new motherboard but i wanted to make sure its the motherboard.

Alright so i have a GeForce PNY GT8800 video card and a Gatwway GT5220. So the problem is sometimes my video card works until i restart or turn off my computer. The fan on the card gets really loud and the computer power light flashes like 6 times and takes forever to turn on. When it turns on my monitor doesn't even show the start up screen or anything. I did some research and some people said it could be my motherboard, Anyone have some input to whats going wrong. I also have all the latest driver and all that good stuff. Thanks, Kasey

Alright and if that doesn't work i guess its just broken. What makes me mad is that it worked just fine when i had my cap in. But right when i take it out it stops working.

I did that and all that happens is the light on the "Stinger" part gets brighter. And the voltage part doesn't light up.

Alright so is their anyway to test it with out a HU? cause i took out everything in my car cause we are trading it in.

Well i took it all the way out and i just have the 3 wires Power(Red) Black(Ground) Blue(Remote). And i put the ground on the - on the bat and the Power in the + and only the stinger lights up.

So when i try to hook my meter up its not showing the voltage the stinger part lights but the voltage doesn't light up at all. Could this be because it is broken or like a faulty meter? One more thing. When i had my cap in and i had my meter in it worked but then when i took my cap out and added a battery it doesn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks, Kasey
