No pics but this is how I do mine. Negative from alternator to chassis. Positive from alternator to battery. Negative from battery to chassis.

I would also make sure the box isn't coming apart, this has happened to me couldn't tell the box snapped at a brace but when we took it apart that was the problem.

Never pull a gun on someone and not use it that will get you killed. You could get him the nice way and record him stealing again but make sure it will go for a felony. Sometimes you have to chuck it up as a loss and learn from your mistake. Either way I look at it, it was yours and your brothers fault, you left it there for him to take.

Going smaller helps, but remember to small can hurt you worse like being less efficient, and to much back pressure and then you will start folding cones. It's a battle, to honest you have to build a lot of boxes and keep testing.

Hard to do that impedance varies with frequency, same reason you see guys wiring down to .25 ohm at comps and burping the hell out of it. Need all you can get sometimes.

On the other hand look for your model number and see if you cant find a wiring diagram on the internet.

The 3 wires on the left is red, green, and white. I know the red one will be your 12 volt so from your head unit so you would make a jumper wire from the head unit 12 volt to the EQ. I have no clue what the green and white wires are for. Everything on the right side will be for your speakers.

From the picture, looks like you will need a 12 volt jumper wire from harnesses to that EQ, and then maybe the same thing for front left and right and same for back left and right speakers. I'm not sure on this one I haven't ran one like the one your using mine have always had rca ports. Sorry I couldn't help you more.

From the head unit 1 set of rca's into the EQ, then another set of Rca's from EQ to Amp. Then repeat from EQ to mids and highs amp.
