  1. Thanx for all the replys fellas!! Its crazy they left it on her belly, i mean, no bricks or nothing!! Took ten of us to lift it off the ground just to slide the jacks in!! They took the emblems and also the fuse block!! But, we got it running this morning, so much for a free check today!! Im coming harder next time, im going to get a DEI 2-way alarm before i do anything else and get full coverage!! Stay tuned!! They not gone hold me down!!!
  2. Hey fellas, great news, i got the car back!! It was found one block away parked in an abandoned houses driveway!! My wifes lil bro spotted it!!! They left it laying on the ground!! They took the 4-12's, the 20's, the battery, peeled the column and took the windshield wipers!! I swear on my kids!!! So we put the factory rims on and bought another battery and drove it to the pad after we called the 5-0!!! Its just said that we as hard working folks on a good street get subject to a car theft! I wouldve felt better if they wouldve took it at the bar or somewhere rather than took it from my pad!!! Me and my neighbors feel so violated!!!
  3. Thats the bummer, i didnt have any, when my wife got laid off, so did the insurance premium. we couldnt afford it.
  4. Ive got an emachines with the windows vista and norton 360, my computer has something that keeps saying "trojandefender" and i cant access my internet explorer. i have to go through ares and type in where i want to browse. i cant do a virus scan cause it says "windows has stopped working" what can i do?
  5. Thanks fellas, me and my wife is really depressed, it was our daily driver too, and now were carless, i feel sorry for the bastards if we catch em before the police do!!
  6. Damn, the world we live in!! I finally got my 4- 12's into my trunk and woke up this morning and my whole damn car is stolen!!! I mean, right out of my driveway. I think it was an inside job cause weve been beefin with our downstairs neighbors and it mysteriously comes up missing!! I mean, a 2002 Grand Prix, Dark Blue with chrome 20" DIP Apollo rims, i just painted the dash pieces to match and the car show is in three weeks!! So, much for the Club and so called tight alarm. Im really depressed right now!!
  7. Hey fellas and gals, if there is anyone from Cleveland, Ohio on here, can you please tell me when the next Spinfest downtown will be? I want to register my Grand Prix but i cant find any flyers or the web site. It suppose to be on or around the 4th of July!!
  8. is shipping included? if not how much to 44120, i m starting a whole new system with all Sundown, im very interested, i want to buy!!!
  9. Well, grizzly, it looks like you got your work cut out for you. 2-15's ported? all i can say is good luck buddy. That's alot of work trying to get that big of a box in that tiny opening. A guy told me at the local shops is that you would have to build inside the trunk and that was for some huge 12's. Anyone else can help this guy out? I want to know too!!
  10. You can also put the extra battery in the spare tire compartment and make a false floor. I seen that in the member builds section for a grand prix.
  11. I have a 2002 grand prix gt 4 door and im running into the same problem. my seats dont fold down and i wanted to put 4 12's but that idea is toast. its tough just to put 2 twelves in there. But, yeah, once you actually get the box in, you actually have room.
  12. I appreciate the input, cause like i say, they do seem cheezy built, but with this Crunch amp, they do get boomy but, I was looking for a lil more out of them, especially since Im running only 375 watts to each sub and they are rated at 600 each. What do you think?
  13. Say, how does that Epicenter work out for you? Im about to get one and was curious. Is it really good or is it just the hype?
  14. I really appreciate all the input fellas, but what i was really asking was, can these subs really handle the rated 600 watts rms because they are really light in weight and kind of cheezy built. These are not the square ones but the round B12's.
  15. Wow, I guess you guys just forgot about me or you guys dont like Hifonics!! Lol..Oh well, to the next topic!!!
  16. Has anyone used or have experience with Hifonics Brutus DVC4 12 inch subs? Well, They claim to have 600RMS but they seem cheezy built. I have 2 in my wife car with a cheap Crunch P1500.1. The guy that sold it to me at the store lied and said it was 1500 watts rms into 1-ohm!!! Found out it was only 750!! Can these things really handle that much power?
  17. Anyone have any experience with the Hifonics Brutus dvc4 12's? I have 2 of them in a ported box in my wife's car( 2002 Grand Prix) with a cheap ass Crunch P1500.1 amp. They sound ok but the RMS on the subs claim to be 600 watts each and the Crunch is only 750 rms into 1ohm, the store that sold it to me lied like crazy and said it puts out 1500!!! Anyway, my question is, can these subs really handle 600 watts RMS? And if i get another cheap Crunch P1500.1 and run 1 to each sub, would they blow up or be ok for a daily? Oh, sorry but i put this in the wrong topic section
  18. OMG!!! I laughed until I cried, I woke up my wife in the process and now I got a lump sticking out my forehead from laughing to hard!!!
  19. Its a Clone by body and interior wise, but the motor is a 307 with carbeurator. I was just wondering cause i see it all the time but like someone said, it may just be that someone put fuel injection on theirs. But i have manual everything (windows, locks) so you guys think it would be a waste of time for an LCD 2-way?
  20. I have a question about remote starts and 2-ways. I see alot of older cars (1987 on down to like 1970) with those 2-way LCD alarms with the remote start in magazines and on TV. Im new at this but i could of sworn that you have to have fuel injection for those. Is it true or am i looking at this wrong? I would like something like this on my ride. I have a 1985 Grand National Clone.
  21. Yeah, I feel like a kid in a candy store everytime i go in there!! I thank them everytime i go for building such a wonderful place! I go sometimes just to sight see!! Great place!!!!
  22. Yeah, i was thinking about switching it out to a 350 if mine wasnt fried. Im going to try to do the filter and oil change first along with replacing the kickdown cable. If all else fell, then i will switch the tranny out. We have a place out here called Pull-A-Part and you pay for trannys for like $75.00 but you just have to pull them out yourself, but we'll see. Thanks everyone for the help, if you can think of anything else, please let me know
