Would Extending them make the tuning higher or lower? Basically shorter port = higher tune freq. or visa versa shorter port = lower freq. Thanks and i'll experiment from there! ;D

Would extending the ports to say about 9-10" help? Or would i need bigger ports, if bigger ports are needed i can get bigger as im using the sides of the box i can go as big as needed lol :w00t:

i have the same problem lol, box is to big and the ports are too close to the body of the car, and i was thinking of firing the ports inside the car with a 90* Angle....

THANKS David i finally done it today, only thing i noticed is that i had to drill a 7cm dimeter hole instead of like 7.5 or 7.6 Any how i think the ports i brought arnt exactly 3" its acutally 7cm, but i done as said put them on the sides, they were originally 5" long extended them with very hard card covered with foil to 7" long, i couldnt realize a diffrence in lows and infact on 1 song it looks like its not hitting as it used to but i've still got some, but on highs its very good! Its Louder on the highs say abt Like DMX - Touch it bangs really good and i have to say that new young jeez album is pretty good although my lows arnt as loud THANKS ANY HOW! Ported FTW =V^ Lol just noticed the smiles! hehehehe :clown2:

man your lucky they only swearing at you. here in London i dont see no one who likes bass only maybe once in a while. i only usally turn it up when the jackass next to me has got it up and i want to drown him out at the lights. this happen twice where on both occasions it was WOMEN, at the lights the car in front of me, i saw the door open she came up towards me and she said in a very rude manner, Can you turn that crap down so only you can hear it, as she was old and i had maners i respected her and turned it down. i think she was about 50 ish any ways same secenario and this time it was like a 30 year old woman got out her car at the lights walking towards me saying "are you fucking deaf" i can read her lips but cant hear her, she came right up to the window, i turned it down a little bit, she goes my car is shaking turn that shit off, i said ohhh ok, as she walked off i turn it on full! lmao you had to see her face expression i'm sure she would of come back but the lights were just turning green, and she tried doing a burnout to pull away and show her fustration but failed lol btw sorry to jump in, yea when they ask to see it and im playing it mine cover is now usally off becasue the subs hit against it and they can see all, but before i used to say, i cant open the boot cos i cut the wire that goes to it so thiefs cant open it even if they break the windows, its gonna be really hard to take it off as i've bolted it down to the chasis with huge nuts and screws. lol

sorry wrong section i put it under member builds, heres the link http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/forums/in...hp?topic=2220.0 LoL well this is embarracing to tell but, i usally have the parcel self on any how lol well when i took the messurements i had no spare tire, and i didnt think that it will make a diffrence as the spare has its own compartment and it fits right in, BUT, after putting the spare back in after a unfortuanate event, the Box is now just about in line with the rear window, but when im parked or maming short trips i leave the parcel self on. Its a hassle as i need to take the parcel shelf off as it rests on the subs, but im not bothered becasue as stated after new year im getting a new build. So it cant be seen at night or when parked as i put the parcel shelf back on. The reason is becasue im using a cheap samsung 6 mega pixel camera but its just basic. Any ways next vid im gonna get the songs that make things move and possibly more flexing! hehehe Thanks for comments - Open for more!

i only used 2 tracks, i tend to see things move about in the car on some tunes with high's and all but the 3 i used wasnt considered to make things move it was for the subs! hehe windows and driver door open, hope you like! Possibly i'll get new vids soon with abit of flexing... Love'd to hear your comments.

Thanks for the adivce your right but if i shorten the cable im just about getting it to the amp. hopefully in the new setup after xmas i'll be able to put the cap closer to the amp!

lol i'd could possibly believe him becasue i've seen a setup where the guy had wired Home use probly 16 gauge electrical wire. and he'd taken ground i think it was either the battery groud or i think it was a little tiny hole drilled and he hadnt even scuffed off hardly any paint work. lol Also about the buble wrap and cable ties, im a DIY guy! lol well not really but i love DIY ideas lol.

well i want it to be loud and i like my lows, from reading about i realize that tuning would be at about 33/32hz? Yea as to the diementions is 34" L / 17" H / 17" D before displace ment so internally 32.5" Length 15.5" high 15.5" Deep. Tuned to about 32hz and remmber its Aero ports thanks alot.
