  3. Ive got an old school CV stroker pro 10 the one with the pole and adjustsble top spider Needs a recone tho The lv3. Subs are nice I used to have 4 of em lol
  4. I started with 6 10s on an aq3500.1(new one) then 8 10s on a saz4500 Then 12 10s on a single 4500 Then got another 4500 Was going to run 3 4500s but wiring would have been a bitch sooo i juat got 2 more 4500s to make things easier
  5. Lol yess tends to do that haha i cant even get to full tilt because the sa10s wont take the power mechanicaly On my sub volume ( goes from -24 to +6) I have gains set for the sub volume to be at 0 And i cant bring it up past -10 haha
  6. will not be adding more power... 20k is still more then enough cant even turn it up yet with the SAs lol the D1 Fi coils would put me at .94 strapped id like to stay with D2 and be at .7 strapped
  7. Ok so i was going woth Fi but, since their D2 coils acctually read D1.4 that will pute at .4 strapped... A tad low for daily So im looking at the xfls now and waiting for some info back on some other subs as well
  8. If all measurents are the same, yes Coil depth in te motor could be differnt, spider landing to surround landing could also be differnt
  9. I set my gains with the DD1 same tone you used, and im running 1500rms+ to a SUNDOWN SA10 DAILY But the differance is i know when to back off and let shit cool down..
  10. Use gorilla tape to seal box from trunk, do a layer or gorilla take then lay some cardboard down Then more tape The cardboard reallly helps to stiffen it up, also make sure your box is really secure or it will pull take off the box or car
  11. Get a friend, Put multimeter on amp inputs See what voltage is with car off Have friend turn car on and see what voltage does Your inline fuse may look good but could be blown, and still letting a small amount of power threw, then when you power amp up voltage drops and protects amp

Thanks Dude better keep it to the track though...he lives near me and we have some pretty strict street racing laws...if you're caught doing 50 km/h over the limit (limit on the highway is 100km/h) you get an instant 7-day impounding of your vehicle, a fine of up to $10,000, and a minimum 7-day license suspension.   13. rad and cooling issues are not problems apparently, hes been having problems with tranny mounts (IIRC) and just replaced clutch he also just cammed it... sounds dirty

  15. Thats on roughly 15psi Will eventually have around 25-30psi Ultimate sleeper as well... The downpipe has a 4" cutout or the stock exhaust lol I was in the car the 2jz came out of, jesus christ lol roll racing from 50mph was useless broke loose into 4th gear Once the solstice is finished it should be pretty quick

  17. yea my 95 doenst move for shit even on like 25 hz I had 2 freshly reconed DD9512Fs with G basket/soft parts, 3k was bottoming it out, and suspension was loose as shit after 2 weeks no broken glue joints, needless to say that was my first and last experiance with DD they sold me CF dustcaps for $40ea and they were ovals! Anyways Hopefully i hear back fron Fi/AA soon interesting. i ran 1500 rms to 1 2510 for a while no problems. those f 9512s gone? last i heard they were in MI somewhere... cant miss them they have a pink DD sticker on em

  19. They are rated at 1500rms.. Doesnt mean they wont take more My sa10s didnt even move on 600rms 1599 was perfect till they really loosend up lol
  20. Im waiting for the C line up acctually The Z v.3 wont even move on 1500rms lol The xfls i can get for cheap and a very nice warrenty on them as well Emaild a few of the mentiond companys will see what they say!

  22. woah hold up. you are running 1500 rms to each sub? or 1500 rms total to both? Man.. I feel like im repeding myself 79876 times lol 1500 each I have 4 saz4500s at .35ea So being genouros thats 20k/12 (rated not clamped) equals 1666rms ea so ill say 1500 to be safe.. And it gets played daily
  23. i dont know about obsidians but SKAR will take that power. it sounds like he jut wants to switch it up for a new look im sure the obsidians could handle it. my boy has a pair on a crescendo 2k and has been runnin clean for almost a year mine have been going a year now, and finally starting to show it.. theres a big differance between a 2k rated amp and the subs getting 1000rms rated ( not clamped) compared to 1500+ clamped... not saying they wont handle it, just dont want to be in the same boat i am now
  24. the SA10s take the power THERMALLY they do not take it mechanically well.. they did at first 1500+ to each doesnt help.. amps are 4 saz4500s at .35ea
