i got a buddy trying to pick what subs to go with hes stuck between a dc level 3 12 and a kicker cvx 12 whats the pros and cons ?

what about one of the green wicked fire crackers? lol or a really long wish that comes with fire crackers so you like hte end and all 100 go off off that one wick

as i said i have my beack seat cut out and the box goes into the trunk from the winside

with the box they are in now ( 3.9 at 34) they dont get much excursion unless its under tunning or way over

ive got my back seat cut out so i can slide box in threw the back with a bigger opening and my back seat is still functional!

heres an idea of what i was thinking but i was told its more less a 6th order with the smaller chamber being so smalll its useless and tunned super high so it wouldent affet much i want to keep it all in the trunk of the car tho thats the thing im willing to fire it all forward and seal it off if i can get a box thats got subs and port all firing forward

they have the level 4 coils in them so their rms is about 1000rms or so ive got them in 3.9 at 34 with about 71 square inchs of port

well ive messed around with ported boxs quite a bit and woul dlike to try something differnt its going in the trunk of a 1994 caviler the max dems ive got is 13 tall 35 wide and 31 deep ive got 4 10 inch dc level 3s with level 4 coils and extra spiders and 6k for power id like it loud but low as well if possible firing all the subs and port forward as well

how can you fire them all forward.. if none of the faces are about 42 inchs wide? unless you put them on the top? my box for 4 10s is 29 wide 31 deep and 13 tall witha 6 1/4 inch wide slot port did a 148.1 at 42 hz

i did a fe wmusic runs and managed about a 145 roughtly meter wasnt set to show the loudest or which ever just to keep running so still not all that bad!

they are very good for the money!

well looking at the pics i have it looks like i did a 145.8 seald up at 42 hz and the 148.1 with drivers door open on the same tone

take all the cats off or hollow them out will deff make it louder then it is then add an x pipe

i set each amp for 77V at 2 ohm which is 3K soo when i have it up at 28 ( where i set it at) they take it but oviosly wont for long periods of time i have yet to get them stinky or warm so or even bottom them out

4 level 3 10s with level 4 coils and extra spiders on 2 audiopipe ap30001ds at 2 ohm.... 6k to them.. no problems! i just dont crank it all the time unless its a good song or a demo but they do not get warm

i was able to do it make sure you can keep voltage up tho

alright thats good to know feel much better now im running 4 of the level 3s with level 4 coils and spiders and at first had them on 2000 rms to all 4 and it was louder then the 4 10 type rs i had on 3000 rms and sounded soo much better they are now seeing roughly 1500rms each one ap30001d per pair of subs and they are loving it! havent got it on the meter yet but for gettin much over rater power they are handling it very nice not getting warm or anything have yet to bottom one out as well
