just got one did used a wire wheel on a drill then a small sanding disk to finish it up 2 DD9512s F style motor with G basket

will a sanding wheel on a drill clean the basket up well enough? i just need to remove the paint correct?

loading issue your port bends over and is creating a loading issue can try take out the "bend" and if tunning is to high can block port off a but with a piece of mdf the high of port and length of port willl lower tuning a few hz

use ducktape to seal it off works well!!! and is permenet go crasy with it make sure you do rear deck holes to or else sealing hte box off will be useless becasue air will go threw the holes in hear deck

theres a chart somehwere that tells you how to do it and what to set amp at but i cant seem to find it im sure others know what im talking about

rc.btls box is on the small side as well ( 5.X cubes) IIRC set your gain with a dmm turn your HU up till it sounds distorted back it off a bit ( unhook the sub) find a 50hz tone hook up a dmm to output and set the gain for 49V ( just under 2200rms) and you should be good no clipping

i can give you te dems. to this box you could cut it in half and use it lol

maybe your further away from where they are shipped from? maybe hte guy you ordered threw hasnt ordered it ( unless you ordered it yourseld right from AA?) still unsure as how you can "blame" this on steve hes not the one sending them out

ok.. im going for daily/spl i plan on going to a few comps this year so i want to do decent at them would it be a bad idea to have an interchangeable port in a spl box? with one port tuned to say daily 35 and spl up near 40 subs are dd 9512fs with 3K on each max dems are 14 tall 31 deep and 36 wide i giguered i can get a 9x12.5 port ( slot) in and it would be tuned to areound 38 but with about 110 square inchs of port and 5 cubes net that sounds like... lots of port is it to much port?
