nope subs moved how they should thru the sine sweep so i have no clue what its doing or why, i guess if subs are still good and plays all but that song fine i can't really complain, still confused as hell tho lol

ya i think i will just have to avoid that song just played a sine sweep 10-40hz at same volume and settings as normal and picked up everything just fine and didn't cut out so ya i'm more then stumped, maybe one day i'll figure out why till then just going to have to avoid that song like said above, oh well can't win them all

Bump.... so no one else has any other ideas? just for little more info my volts not dropping below 12, and the bass eq is at +0db, wires all tight ground and power are good, song not clipping, amp and h/u shouldn't be clipping (hard to tell with out scope for sure), subs not stinking at all, no blown coils, amp not going into protect. man it kinda eatting at me this is first song its done it with and more then anything would like to learn why its doing it. any advice at all would be very helpful more things i can check to figure out why the sooner i can learn whats really going on. thanks for all the input so far guys, and sorry for asking so much just trying to learn all i can cuz i'm no pro

if you are planning on running the dc's like you said you could also talk to rusty and get a price on a dc amp, theres alot of amps out there i'd say take your time figure out just what you want and go from there, i'm sure Jacob and Rusty as well will give you any info you want to know about their amps. as for the power acoustik i can say for sure i'm not getting the 1200rms at 1 ohm like it says, but i can't say for sure just how much i'm getting etheir since i have no way to champ the amp. just take your time with it, the amp is big part of your system and you shouldn't rush into picking one

i have the 2000.1 BAMF and i myself found it to be worth what i paid for it not disapointed but please note as others with tell you power acoustik do not put the power they state, how much less power well that depens who you talk to, i haven't seen anyone post info from clapping one of these to find out for sure how many rms it puts out but i got 1 BAMF 2000.1 powering 2 alpine type-r 10's 4 ohm dvc's ran to amp at one ohm and i'm pretty happy with how they sound just my 2 cents on them

Why not try to talk to ANT at Second SKin? the door back on the site isn't much cheaper and i'm going to guess and say its no where near as good as what ANT could give you for just a little more. and i'm sure if you have any problems he would help you with them

any 12v source can be used as the remote, just want to make sure it shuts off when the car is off and its a good soild 12v source, and for #2 sound prosseser rf 360, or something like that would give you the rca outs from the stock line outs, line driver is same thing i beleive etheir way it give you the rca's

would love to see them on a sub that really hit, lol things would prolly break

ya 1LOWSUV is who i was talking bout, i seen the video of the chrome basket, and seen these pics and well was just wondering if instead of pink cone you could have chrome cone and dust cap with black dc lettering with that chrome basket i myself think that would look sick in a box with plexy window, was just idea i had and well don't know if its even possible unless you ask

by sounds of it your not using an O-scope, so your pretty much in same boat its hard to make sure your not clipping with out one as for that sub getting warm, well given it has good amount of power going to it every sub will get little warm. can you judge the heat better for us? is it just little warm, really warm, hot, ect.... and how long of playing them to they start to get warm? i'm not a pro but i think i heard someone say btls get little warm in one of the posts floating around here, could be wrong tho, but in any case i see you want help with this and i'd like to see you get your answer so maybe some more info on how long you play them befor they get warm and how warm they get would help someone more in the know about that brand could help you sorry if i couldn't be of anymore help

ok well good news is i finaly found a song where i get my jeep to flex a little bit and blow little air out the drives window :hairtrick: bad nice is something is messing up when it hits the real lows in the song, h/u volume is 24 out of 36 so shouldn't be clipping there, amp gain is at half, low pass is half out of 40-200hz, sub sonic is at 1/4 out of 20-50hz. amp is not getting warm or going into protect, subs not blown checked all the coils, and even a funny smell, but when i hit the lows in the song is sounds and looks like the amp shuts off for a sec, well i played the song watch the subs and the amp, power light stays on no protect light. and both batteries have full charge...... oh and i checked all the wires to make sure nothing was loose and shungged them up just to be sure.... i shouldn't be clipping at all have all setting low and sound nice, and sounds fine on everything else but the lows in this song i don't know, i will check now see if the song is clipping but i don't think it is, doesn't seem louder then cd from store anyone else got some ideas??? i'm kinda at a loss
