Best to glass them Panels IMO. One time I spilled some coke in the door jam and it got sticky and when I opened the door it just ripped off. Then i got a new one and with 2 cheap crunch GP15's I rattled a screw loose without realizing it.. Pop goes the weazel again. Just one screw came loose and it just broke all the other screw holes off just under the weight of itself... Probes got some cheap ass Door panels brotha.... Glass FTW!!! And recone and bass knob FTW... Hell of a system bro!!!

Well by the foot steel isn't so bad. You wouldn't need a whole bunch of it. Go to a local shop and ask if they got some scrap!!!!!!! We use to have a whole mess of shit on a rack in the back of the shop. People came in all the time and we just gottem for 5 bucks here 10 bucks there.

I thought about doing something in stainless once but nothing ever came of it...... DO IT!!!!! I wanna see how it turns out!!

Thanks man it means a lot. Most people have no idea what it takes to shave a drip rail and all the trim on a car.. All that hard work pays off when you see the look in the customers eyes when they realize there dream car has become reality.. For instance this guy has pictures he drew of this exact same car while he was still in High School!!!! Now he's a hotshot at whirlpool and his notebook fantasy is in his garage. SWEET!!!

I think I'll take another look at the location and see if i could get it over far enough to run both off of the serp. belt With an idler pulley. I'll see how far over i can get it!!!!!

Alright thanks for the input i guess... When i figure it out and get it done and it works, I'll post pictures. I want to do something that hasn't been done before.. And in small fwd cars people are limited to how BIG they can go.. Well I'm gonna change that for probe owners cause with a big system we really dont have room for a whole huge bunch of batteries.. And then when we horseshoe the damn things in there... we gotta charge the damn thing every night... Bogus i say... 2 250ampers would change all that... So I'm goin at it...

Now for another question... With the alt. reversed it will reverse the fan as well soooooo...... No cooling. Is there a way to turn the alt. fan around???

For sure for sure, Is these kinda sites and these kinda people that push the limits of our sport..... or whatever you'd call it. If nobody ever tried something different just for the sake of saying they did..... Car audio would still be an A.M stereo 8 track (which is awesome by the way) And two 4 inchers in the doors. : Go big are go home That is if you can afford it????

I have a lathe. And i like to play with it And i want more than just a 250amp And the fact i have never seen a dual alt setup on a kl car such as the probe or the mx6. So it's more of a challenge than a necesity.....

I know i can get it in there I just dont know how it would work with one alt driving the other instead of a single belt running everything???
