  1. Looks like your question was answered lol Post pics when ya can!
  2. Thanks for the morning chuckle!
  3. So we all saw how bad I tore the surround this time but just in case here it is again Unlike Frank Sr. the surround on Frank Jr. actually ripped instead of pulling off the cone or basket. So as I stated before this is where the fun begins..... Who would believe that a tube of goop could repair a rip in the surround that bad.... Me of course lol Frank Jr. Getting his stretch on
  4. hmmm interesting.... I'm gonna say the obvious clipped sig. You say the 3rd song at that level. Did you smell the coils before this? Also what is your box rise? Just because its a 3k amp does not mean you get that power in a real world application. I've seen many amps including cactus 12k's at .5ohm nominal only put out 3400 because of a 4.5ohm box rise.
  5. Pics from 08 show Technically was part of 09 season lol http://www.teamnortheastspl.com/?page_ID=5..._display=photos

  7. Thanks Clay! Gonna start collecting materials tomorrow It'll def be something different.
  8. Although you could clearly see that some air did get into the other chamber it was indeed limited. hmmm
  9. Theres absolutely no wrong nor right way to get things done. There is only trial and error.
  10. Tooshort excellent idea but i'm thinking more along the lines of 10in port
  11. Sooner or later I'll find the magical combo :01nocomment8so:
  12. Yes he does. lol Took a slightly diff approach this time and started with a tube of shoe goop Now the real fun begins Score before Franken Jr. was born
  13. I'm gonna try a center slot to maximize port volume and see what happens. lol
  14. Well I was doing some more testing today and as always in pursuit of the 150 average for bassrace I shredded the right subs surround. On the bright side that was around 40 secs or so at 8k+rms And of course a short vid Yes thats with the car sealed up
  15. I know. I need a new cam. I've been using a pos hp that I got 2 yrs ago lol I'm always running out of video time. lol
  16. If I push the box forward I can do this but it's not as loud. lol
  17. I could do this on the back seat but theres only enough room to do one on the back of the box and one on the left side. If I stack them on the rear seat its gonna cause some nasty turbulence and interfere with the air flow to the meter.. I think lol
  18. Thanks! Heres a walk around vid I took today.
  19. So I was out taking pics and vidz and these Gents came up and wanted a Demo
  20. I gotta disagree. I've proven time and again that over the course of several weeks my subs have metered louder given the same power. My spider pack is almost .5in thick. If I throw the world at it from the get go it will just rip the spider/former joint apart because the spiders wont move. This is an extreme case I know but for certain my subs require a break in period.
  21. Talk about memory lane! Damn I sadly remember alot of that stuff. lol
  22. Right now I have a 1.5in back wall resined inside and out. Theres not a lot of room to work with. I'm open to any and all suggestions!
  23. I went back to see if I could find the impedance but couldnt. I'd like to see a half power TL test. I.E. Sub wired in series. You should be able to do them all day long without worry of destroying the sub. This way you can show the gains as the sub breaks in and you can see the diff from daily to comp power. Just my suggestion. Looking good Gents!
