    This is good news, but nothing against sundown but would get a stronger amp for those two subs. They will be begging for more power.

    So does that mean you are going to beat me this year? haha The reason i didnt comment on the box volumes is because not a single one of you would agree with me, same with tuning..... But then again i have alot of work ahead of me.

    Nothing needs to be added to that sub except more power. haha As for enclosure info i will leave that up to someone else who has more experience with this sub then me.

    Thats going to be a interesting test indeed. You should know by now i am always 1 step ahead. And to those who think the surround issues are from all these different reasons listed the real problem is the enclosure, not power or surround material or shape.

    Sounds like a cool build. a 8k per pair isnt to bad, i have a Stetsom 11k per pair of XLs in Jimbo.

    If you are a dealer then you are getting better pricing then "Team DC". No one ever told me i was on the team, but somehow i ended up on it.

    I would!!! Infact i beleiev i once told you to use it last time with the standard surrounds..... Also it has been used often out here on DD subs, and the most impressive place in Riprocks Trooper, where a repaired shoo goo'd surround holds up better then a perfectly good one over 180 dB!!! The stuff is killer for fixing anything in car audio.

    I would guess there is a bit of a divider in the center of the port that doesnt go right to the baffle to separate each side. If thats the case then it will act as 2 enclosures yes, but then i would not consider that a truly shared port, partially shared yes.

    Im not attacking you here, but maybe its just the way you worded this. But if a ported box shares a common port it is a shared chamber enclosure.

    Solid score playing music indeed for a pair of 10s. But i think its time to build a new enclosure one that isnt so hard on surrounds. :tease:

    I like this sub but was hoping to see it push a little more like some others. But i can see why a person may not want to find outs it breaking point right away haah thats like killing a baby.... and is just wrong. And that is no where near a lv 5 with a bigger motor it has every advantage except one over the 5 but then again it doesnt have that advantage either so maybe its back to every advantage.

    Both installs were 3 cubes net shared 40 Hz, one is a slot port the other is a 6" aero. Mine was with the 6" aero and the 4k2d in my blazer would a 148 burp and sounded amazing.

    Probably thinking of me. I have personally ran a pair of lv3 12s with a Stetsom 4k2d no problems and they would take everything that amp had. Also have a customer with a pair of lv3 12s and a DC 3000.1 powering them. I have said it many time over but i think thats the best sub DC makes!

    Come on you of all people should know most cameras sound with a abundance of bass. I know 2 videos of the same thing in my truck taken with different cameras at the same time, one sounds bad, and the other sounds absolutely horrible. lol Get some more vids of the sub actually moving guys!!!
