    well i kno the h/u is still putting out sound because i have my sub hooked up and it still slaps.. having said that, can the headunit amp still be bad? im goin to check all of it out just thought i'd ask that real quick...

    when the h/u turns on you can hear a pop, does that mean they are blown or still good? tand i replaced the stock speakers with kicker ones, but its same wire...

    So I wired up my amp and sub, but once i got done and went to listen, my radio speakers quit working.... im not sure what it could be, however i did notice my amp lite up after i attached my power wire and rca's... Im thinking maybe the amp was grounded threw my rca's but im still confused because my remote wire was'nt in so I dont know. Any input would be awsome!

    thanks man, i was just wondering cause im lookin at buying the knuknoceptz klm 8 guage wire to run to my re sx 15's 1200 watt rms.... the wire was only 15 dollars for 20 feet... seems like a good price and 8 guage is the biggest i can run to them....

    ok well im probly goin with the 8 guage knukonceptz klm CCA wire. since its goin to be speaker wire thats only goin to a sub that takes 1200 rms....

    how big of a diffrence would it be though? what would it affect?

    the wire will be going to 2 re sx 15's and whatever i go with clad aluminum or pure copper wire, how big of a diffrence will it be?

    which is better to run TO the subs? im currently looking at kunkonceptz KLM wire... which consists of copper clad aluminum. Will this be fine or should i go with pure copper?

    is it: VOLTS X AMPS==WATTS produced? or somthing like that to find out what my electric system can support...?

    dang 1600!!! i just called our local audio shop and he said he would do it for 700-800. for everything...

    lol yea I think ill go with the blow through... but im goin to do a lil more research on it and i have to get the funding together... just curious though how much would an audio shop charge to do such a thing?

    man thanks that was nice to hear! I appreciate your input alot. Its a single cab s-10 so its porbly what i will go with, unless i can put 2 bucket seats and have room to put a 6-8 cube box in between.. which i doubt.

    hey guys i was just wondering how hard it is to do a blow through, and if you would recommend that i do it or if i should have a shop do it? I mean ive built lots of boxes before and many installs. but im not sure on this... if you dont think i should do it how much roughly would it cost to do a blow through box that is 8 cubes?

    i have a thor 250 rms at 8ohm and odin 150rms also at 8ohm.... i dont know what they do at lower ohms... cant find the mannuel... but how under rated is that amp? no disrespect..
