the terminals were 20 bucks and the wiring was maybe like 20-30 and the batt was 210 but i had the wiring and battery from my old build so it was kinda a freebie on the new car lol.

Well guys and gals I thought it was time to start a build log. It will be slow going process but it will be very detail oriented. My first upgrade today was my Big 3 and a battery upgrade. Still to come amps subs box you know the good stuff lol. Enjoy the pics and just know their is more to come. Enjoy and know their is more on the way soon.

I am wanting to put in a 2nd battery in my car i am lookin at the d375 or the d680 from xs power the battery is mainly need to run some accessories while the car is off at shows it will have an isolator on it. it will be running a small 400 watt power inverter and my kicker 5 chan amp with the sub turned off and maybe some leds. which battery will be better im not going to playing the music loud just to have something playing while people are looking at the car. My space is very limited where i will be putting it and the extra inch or so will make a huge difference for me. thanks for any help.

Its 230 in the morning on this side of the country and i just got done in installing my new Viper 5901 on my new girl Gloria My new 2010 Scion TC. It is working like a champ so far. This monday i get to order my amp and wiring. Im so excited to be starting on my project I had to share it with someone and the SMD crowd seemed like the right group. EDIT- spelling

Im pretty used to not being able to see to well backing up my last car had a wall in it and it was a daily driver very weird to drive to say the least lol. i was gonna go talk to my tint guy and see what he wanted to do but the last time i went in he was out getting parts.

I finally got my first new toy for her too my new Viper 5901 sorry no smart start dont have an Iphone or Ipod Touch if i get oneill be adding it though. I hope to have this in this week but i may have to wait till next week. As soon as I start getting my audio equipment in I may ask for a build log but that will be a few months away yet. My hopeful system is in my sig. Wish me luck and if you have any advice be more than happy to share it.

I think the proper term is speed dependent volume control but IDK for sure i checked pac, metra and scosche so far.

Hey guys its been awhile since i posted anything but I got a new car. And I am going to be redoing the whole audio system. However the question i have is does anyone make an adapter to retain speed adjusted volume control. Ive tried looking on various sites but have come up empty. My New TC has it and it is very helpful with the sunroof open and the windows down not to have to fiddle with the volume control. The radio i am going to be putting in is the alpine CDA-9887 if that makes a difference. Thanks for any help guys.
