They will take the 2500wrms all day long.Can take more.

It is actually rated at 2800@2ohms it can make3000wrms but it sounds nasty,high THD.

I personaly would take the 9518,I have a 9917 and love it.It can take the abuse plan and simple,no burnt/broken tinsel leads,no creased cone,burnt coils etc.Loud and sounds GREAT doing it.3K,which that amps stuggles to produce isnt doin any justice to the sub.The closes thing to the DD9518 for the money is the 18"Audioque HDC3. 300 Bucks for a sub that can take a beating and get this....It anit no FI crap,it comes with a warranty!

Nah,I got that.What I meant was instead of running my 2 pa 3000s,just run one orion 2500d at .5ohms,what would I need inaddition with my kinetik 2000 and alt.U may be able tohelp me on my mids though,About the only componets I have heard in my price range/sound good, are the CDT eurosports,do u have any recommendations in the 300 buck price range.I was also think of running 2 sets of DD 6.5 in the front doors,no sure if it will work out I have to take some measuremeants.Gotta have mid bass.Thanks for all the help bud.

4K 9917>XXX plan and simple.Much better suited daily subs that can handle the power.4"coils are great for thermal but not that efficent.

Extremely inefficent for daily IMO 4k+,would do a lot more with that kinda of power.

Thanks man,that is what I am most unsure of as well,that why I was asking to keep it to a minium....so for the most part I guess I will just try 1 run and go from there.I have under built and if there is such a thing as over building an electrical system I have both many times,including a build for 2 PA 3000d Hopefully I can afford to get me an Atomic 5000.1 and built an electrical system to match it.They pretty damn effiecent from what I have heard.

When I say 2 awg I dont mean 2 gauge I mean 2/0,come on guys I am not new to this, big three has been done.I just tryin to figure out what I need and keep it to a minium,example...How many runs of 2/0 should I run to the rear battery and yes it makes sense that I run the largest/strongest battery I can in the rear,so I will be running 1 Kinetik 2000 and 1 2400,how many runs should I make and will this give me some head run to run more power in the future.

Well I found that my Treo 1500.1 will not run at .5daily,which is fine I just have to go back to my budget amps.Which alright just arent as efficent as I would like them to be. Okay the amps I will be using:Power Acoustik 3000ds,great budget amps.Their a lil over rated but u can get a solid clean 1800-2000wrms out of each of em.I will be setting the gain in the 3000-3500wrms range strapped at 2ohms. I currently have one Kinetik 2000 in the front with 1 2awg powa wire running to the back.I have a Iraggi 260amp alt coming in soon,BTW great prices on these alts. I want to try to keep it to a minium.So what do I need as far as # of runs to the back using 2awg,and I am sure I need an extra battery,so what is the smallest battery I can throw back there,I figured it might as well be a kinetik too. I dont want to steal the thread or anything but I have been wanting to play with a solo xfor a while.I have been wanting a 10"solo but I am unsure about its daily power handling.Can anyone give a basic idea of what they take daily in a stanarded/normal/average install.1-2k-3-4K?Thanks for any input.
