    I did all that, had my 2 batts in where the right jumpseat was. This time all the batts amps and what not will be in the bed of the truck.

    Op Is yours a 4.3 if so how did you do your dual alts I have an 02 and need to add an alt. Any help is appericated.

    I concur scrap it, it's not worth the risk both to the sub and your health.

    Sorry I haven't been able to do anymore on it, I'm just waiting to get the recone and airbrushing done. Got to find a new one , the guy that usualy does it for me is working in Miami now

    Here are a few pics of the dustcap, it is an 8" carbon fiber cap I wet sanded it and painted it the same color as the basket, I have a friend that is going to airbrush some goodies on it for me.

    Yeah it's a z1 and I still have to send it to DD for repair and some upgrades. It will be on very good elec when everything goes in so .5 ohm won't be any problem

    I haven't ordered one yet got to save up some $$$. Will be getting the stealth coils elsp, 5 spiders,surround reinforcement, already got an 8" cf dustcap and direct leads.

    Got it ready to recone just got to get some $$$ first. Hrer are all the pics I have for now, basket all cleaned and painted and attached to motor, used grade 8 capscrews an loctite mainly because of the weight of the motor and it will be mounted facing forward with port up on drivers side.

    thank all it not powdercoated I sanded primed and painted it, 4coats of bule metel flake and 2 coats of clear, you can't see the flakes in the pics but it sparkles in the sunlight. Box will be lit inside w/ a plexi window. Sorry all the pics i have right now have to order the recone and put it all together.

    And yes I'm going to clean the surround and spider landing, it will be d1 stealth coils elsp w/5 spiders & direct leads, amp is a DD z1 @.5ohms,2 3400s & 1 3100 up front, 270 amp alt. Box will be 5.25cuft net w/ 88 sqin of port tuned to 36hz, sub forward port up. Like to know what ya'll think.
