  1. Thanks for the comments guys! I'll pass them on to the crew that built this. I'll also try to get more pics of the build... that front baffle for example is quite trick due to space constraints
  2. Sundown Audio Russia - another client ride 4 Sundown z18 v2's Stetsom 14k2E 3 Hawker HX400's walled in about 14cubes (not nearly enough) tuned to 39Hz Placed 1st in Advanced3 at the National IASCA Finals with 156.39 @48Hz (sealed on the TL) hoping to get a better vid soon, this one just doesn't show the flex enough official scores from the event http://www.iasca.ru/results/competition/?competition_id=82
  3. Russia is in for these Build 'em Jake, even if that means I'll be even further in debt
  4. what if ya look at it from a velocity point of view? i.e. a really smooth port with 45's\curfs would flow better, hence higher speed of air = lower tunning compared to a port of equal length\area with no 45's or any kind of smoothing
  5. yah, port is just below the amp LOL at second question, it actually took me a few seconds to figure that out
  6. SAZ1000D's have 3x30A of onboard fusing - the website is off on that....I have had quite a few come through my hands get the SAE1200D v2 - that has 5x30A - lots of power on the cheap
  7. but your number is sealed on the dash if I remember correctly? which is damn good for a daily setup out of the trunk
  8. i'd say go for an SAE1200D in there - they make some nice power.... I actually ran one for quite a while in my setup until i got my alt in are the subs d2 or d4? it could hit a 149.xx in the kick with the 3k wired to 0.5
  9. Great job on that box regular cabs are tough to meter well, unless it's a blowthrough
  10. another Team Sundown Russia ride amp is @1ohm
  11. Thanks Jake !! one hell of a busy weekend, just got back...Team Sundown Russia did great there - took first in 3 of the 4 SPL classes ( we didn't have anyone in the 4th)... i'll post vids and pics when they are available
  12. a bit of an update - this system metered at 145.8 sealed on the TL @ 42hz at a comp on saturday ...which I think is great for a low tuned musical box and low power
  13. two SA10's did 148.7 sealed on the TL (did a 149.6 when we were doing an equipment check, but couldn't back it up) from a trunk area of a focus 5door hatch at our comp this weekend
  14. we had a comp this weekend in Saint-Petersburg ....the guys won their class showing a 151.2 sealed on the TL (db drag style) after demoing all day for the crowd on just 4 75Ah Optima Blue tops and a stock 90A alt....hairtriks and whatnot were had and vids shall be posted later
  15. Jake, will the spacer have the Sundown logo on it like the rendering?
  16. Yeah, wired parallel two 4ohm subs give you a 2ohm load....since most monomps nowadays have dual outputs it's pretty straight forward
  17. Thanks for the comments guys:drinks: Sundown FTW!!!
  18. not gonna post too many pics or get into too much detail....it's a nice system
  19. Nah, I'm pretty sure that's the PA system on the stage

  22. Stereo Integrity BM12 if you wanna roll with shallow mount - great woofer Also saw on youtube today - someone has 4 Sundown SA8's mounted under the back seat of a chevy 4 door...forward fire and ported to the side - flexes pretty good... can't find the vid now though
