I jailbroke my Touch, 2G, the first day it became unteathered. I think it is worth every second. I run 2.2.1 SW, and havn't really heard or tryed to research the new 3.0+ SW. I think doing a teathered JB is kinda lame, but who turns off their touch? If you do it's not that hard to re jailbreak, although some apps become useless. I would do it. There are so many apps, and you can theme your ipod to make it any way you want it to. Also, there are apps that will allow you to stream movies and shows. Free games, and apps like Installous that will allow you DL cracked apps, for free, which is illegal.

Welp, it's ordered, with the BlackCity T-shirt, and a 12" Fi sticker, incase they don't hook meh up wit one.

Getting ready to order my new Fi BL 15", Dual 2, faltwind, cooling, daily, and fire dust cap ftw. Does Fi give free sticker(s) with purchase of sub? If not, I guess I have to get one... and a shirt. lol.

Well, I heard that AQ's CS is pretty good, I think. Lol. I'm lazy and haven't gotten around to talking to anyone to see if it's covered under warranty since my amp is rated 500rms... But I still need to take it out and look at it, and if the spiders came undone or something, be easier to glue that then have it sent in.

The sound in the beginging is kinda what it sounds like in person, it's like a high pitched squeak.

My H/U is never really up much, max I usally have it is 25/35 and that may be only for like 10-15 seconds, I have Bass on 0, and NO bass boosters set on my H/U or amp. So clipping should be a problem?

I'm not sure if I could extend the port, it would be a pain. The top is glues and screwed down really good. How could I go about changing the tuning? Would lowering the tuning like 5-3 hz really make a huge diffence, worth the effort? The box is 30 inches deep with the port being 5 inches wide and 17 inches long and 10.5 tall. Box is 30 x 30 x 12 with 3/4 wood.

Ok, so I guess it's not coil rub... Thanks Misaligned coil? How would that happen? The sub played fine for a week, but about after a week it started making the weird popping noise on certain frequencies.

Would this fall under the warranty? My amp is only "rated" at 500 rms... and it's a 600 rms sub.

Were do you get CA glue at? I havn't had anytime yet to take it out and look at it, but I think it may be coil rub, would it rub if the spiders became unglued because it wouldn't be balanced?

So this is probly not a good choice for my box then?

I've had the same RCAs for a while, and the ground is on bare metal. on the latch for my trunk, sanded it down nice and good.

Well, I guess first chance I get it's coming out and getting looked over. I'm kinda pissed. First "big" system, for me, and it's messing up not even 2 weeks after I get everything up and running. I think I've pretty much taken it easy on it too. Gain about 1/3, no bass boosting at all.

On certain frequencies my sub makes a weird popping sound, almost like it's bottoming out, but it's barley moving. Any thoughts on what it is? I pushed down on the cone to see if coil was rubbing, and didn't really seem like it. It was only a quick check though, I also checked coils with a DMM and they read the same as the day I got it.

Well... I'm not doing another box, I need a 15" sub that'll take 1300rms in 4^3 ft at 35 hz and sound good and loud as hell. I was thinking about one the Z15s from Sundown, but site says like 3.25^3 ft max... $200 shipped is a kick ass deal
