    The amp does not go into protect when it cuts out, forgot to add that in my last post.

    Could the sub cause this problem? I just can't figure it out. I have turned the gain down, and the amp still does the samething, but it only does when It starts to get loud.

    The amp plays, but once I turn it up, it cuts out. Basically once it starts hitting is when it cuts out.

    I have a Sundown SAE-1200D and everytime I turn the remote knob up the amp cuts out, it has just started to do this, just this morning. Any ideas as to what it can be?

    I don't think mixing the 08 sub with the 06 sub in the same box would be a good idea.

    I think for that price range AQ has a 1200 wrms amp that will do rated or more that rated, check them out.

    It just didn't seem to put out rated, and I bought that amp to replace a RF 500, and I was happier with the RF.

    I had that same Hifonics amp, and I was not happy with it.

    I have like 4 ED Hardy and 3 CA shirts, some people like them, and some hate them, but mostly they don't understand why I would pay so much for a shirt.

    My brother has a 12" W7 and he's so stuck on that sub, he thinks it's the best sub in the world, I try and show him other brands like FI, DC, and RE but he won't even look.

    $275 is that from them or through some else. because that seems to be a great deal for a 275 amp alt.

    Call them and ask, I got one and have not had a problem with except trying to put it in my car, and for $299 for a 220 amp alt. I think it's a pretty good deal.

    Powerbastards makes a 220amp cs130d that will probably just bolt right in your car. Check them out.
