  1. what you mean by airspace?? He means how much space do u have in your trunk. If going ported you're going to need a certain amount of space for the subs to perform properly
  2. How will the SXX's compare to Memphis 15-PR15S4 ? i used to run those in my explorer but sold em. got the SXX's to put in my charger
  3. Damn, hate seeing people talking down on the SXX's. i got 2 15's for 600 and I thought they were good quality
  4. it said these speakers arent recommended for 2 ohm but idk. and 1 channel per door wont be enough power. it's 2 6.5's and 2 tweeters per set
  5. I didn't really plan out what im doing to well. Currently i have 2 SXX's and 4 sets of the RE 6.5C's and also 2 Selenium ST350's i plan putting in the dash. i only have the MD3D Right now but the RE amps are on the way but could be cancelled. Any advice for how i should run the 4 Sets of RE 6.5C's and the seleniums? my original plan was to have the RE speakers on the amps and have the seleniums running off my deck
  6. The MD3D is gonna be running my 2 RE 15" SXX's and the 2 RE Amps are gonna be for the 4 sets of RE 6.5's
  7. I'm not sure what strappable means. but i'm running the MD3D for the 15's and running the 2 RE Amps for my 4 sets of 6.5's with tweeters
  8. My master amp is my USAMPS Merlin MD3D, but i'm also gonna be running 2 RE Xt800.4's just under 3000RMS Total. do you have any opinions on how i should upgrade my electrical? Car has a stock 140amp alternator but i'm thinking of getting the Mechman 270amp alt and running an XS Power d3100. would that suffice?
  9. I'm not new to car audio but my new system is going to be the biggest yet. I'm just wondering how to run 3 amps since my deck only has 2 preouts?
  10. I also have a Charger and i've got 2 RE 15" SXX's in my closet with a USAMPS Merlin MD3D.. i have no idea what box is gonna make them sound good. my back seats don't fold so i'm thinking of having a port blow through the rear deck?
  11. Will be ordering in approx 2 weeks. have an estimate on shipping to Canada?
  12. Alright thanks for the replies everyone. I will be ordering the 270Amp alt along with an XS power 3100
  13. i maybe wrong but if the computer limited anything it would be charging voltage not amperage output. Alright i just wasn't sure because there was a member on another forum with a magnum who was running 4 15's and had 4 xs power batteries and his lights were still dimming and his voltage was dropping as low as 11volts. in your opinion will i have to upgrade my alternator running the setup i explained above? Or should i be ok with just a yellowtop and an xs power d3100 ? i think you might be able to get away with 1 or 2 good g31 batteries. lots of people will tell you to upgrade your alternator to biggest one you can, not always necessary. i would start up buy upgrading batteries if you feel like you still need more after that, than go for the alternator, but in the long run your are going to need batteries either way. Alright, thank you for your help. if anyone else wants to chime in any opinion is appreciated

  15. I have a 2006 Charger with 2.7l engine. I purchased 2 15" RE SXX's and 4 sets of RE 6.5" speakers with tweeters. I will be running a USAMPS 2krms amp for the subs along with 2 mb quart 500rms amps for the speakers. I was told on another forum that the computer in these cars limits the amount of power it puts out. My car has a stock 140amp alternator and i saw the 270amp alternator on the site so i was wondering if it would be a waste of money to buy this alternator if the computer will limit the power it puts out anyway?
  16. UPDATE: Fixed the problem last night. Turns out that one of the old RCA's that were in there had the gold plating cap on the end crack off inside. So the RCA itself came out but the gold cap that they put on the end got stuck inside. I bought some different Monster Cable RCA's anyway. I stuck a drill bit inside the hole and finally got the cap out. System is back to loud as f**k. BTW i am running 2 15" memphis m3's in a big ass box. Thanks for your help though guys
  17. Skullz they won't go All the way in. Causing them to fall out. So i can't pinch them if they won't go all the way up
  18. Sorry. Ok The RCA's Fit in These holes ( ) <----- These holes make no sound ( ) The RCA's DONT fit in the holes BESIDE ^ Those so its like ( ) ( ) ( ) <--- FIT DON'T FIT ---> ( ) but the holes they don't fit in Make the sound. its 1 set of RCA's..
  19. Ok. This is how its set up just so u know more. IN ( ) OUT ( ) IN ( ) OUT ( ) They fit in one side of the holes. But that side is a different channel and makes no sound. The other side they do not fit in but thats the side that makes sound when i hold them up
  20. RCA's from a different company? would that even matter? and the amp is an Alpine MRD-M1000 By the way. Maybe that will help. I'm clueless guys and i dont want to have to resort to tape Lol
  21. I'm having some trouble with RCA's staying in my amp. My Old RCA's i the end of one off and they were working for a while but i decided to change them out because every time i would take a corner the old RCA's would make the subs pound for no reason. So anyway i got new rca's hooked them up to my deck but they won't stay in the holes. There are 4 holes there and the ones that they DO fit in don't make any sound. But the ones that don't fit make the sound but they just slide right out. The only way i would be able to use them like that is if i stayed back there and held them in with my hand the entire time, which is impossible. So can you guys let me know what the issue might be? The RCA's are just typical rca cable nothing fancy and i can't remember how well the old rca's stayed in there because i had it installed by an audio shop. I don't know what to do
