  1. is this thinking correct? if i have a box that is 42w at the top and 62 wide at the bottom can i take the average of them 2 numbers so i can get the cuft of a box?

      i just did a box with a wierd shape. you gotta split it up unless you know the angles otherwise your estimate will be off

      Minus the difference, in this case it's 20", and then divide that by 2 = 10". SO your total width is 52" (62" - 10" = 52".) Then proceed as you would normally.
