  1. hey guys just reinstalled windows on the computer. but i cant do windows updates. i can get on the internet and have not had a single problem getting on any other site i visit. but when i try to go to http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/v6/default.aspx it says cannot connect. you guys got any tips on what might be going on and how to fix it so i can update. wanting to download itunes and all that and put some more music on the ipod but cant do it cause i cant get it to let me update windows.
  2. ok. so if i understand what your asking right. u would take the over all port with and divide by 2 and then that would be how far the port needs to be from the back wall i do believe. some1 correct me if im wrong. .... so if ur port is 4" wide and your box is 20" deep and the port needs to be 28" long you would want your first port wall to be 16.5" and the second (the part that would run along the back wall) would be 11.5". and 2" away from the back
  3. could do 2 level 4 15's or 18's and that would still leave you some cash to buy wire headunit and comps.
  4. anyone got any say on what would be good?
  5. i would get a dc xl 18 and still have money left to do a box. and if any left over after that put it toward a amp
  6. also whats a good arrangement? port at top 1 sub behind each seat?. port bottom subs top? subs passenger side port driver side? remember this is just meant as a loud daily driver.
  7. cool .... will definitely give that a though when i start to plan it out. idk though. doubt i get any competition time in with it though cause most of them are 5 hours away.

  9. lol yeah. so 2 18's sound better? or what? was shooting for cone area. and tunning i was thinking like 33hz. Had 2 10" massive audio dc's and 2 kenwoods 10's in a box with 2 chambers. the massives in one tuned to 33.x and the kenwoods in one tuned to upper 30's cant remember exactly and everything sounded good. could play the lows and the highs
  10. looking for really loud daily system and mostly listen to decafs stuff if that tell you anything. plus a little techno here and there and im not sure if the guy new about what he was saying. couple of the things i read didnt make any sense to me
  11. and what would u guys tune a daily driver wall to? just read that his ^^^^ sealed box hit lows better but the ported was louder
  12. maybe something like This Build but i want it more accurate. so not building the box to large and
  13. well right now i dont have any. looking to do a 99 Hyundai Accent. i found a build and he had a box with about 24 ft^3. so was thinking that would be plenty for like 6 15" dc lvl 3's running off a sd 5k. would be doing h/o alt. with a batteries in the back. couple runs of 1/0 front to back.
