its not hard u just need a kit to put it in. i got one for my 03 tiburon gt that i had to mod it a tad. u can see if it will fit with the mod i did to mine. i think for the price and the dvd by pass and flash drive your getin a great deal. sh it im local and like i sald on the other site worse case u get to meet another local guy and we can bs for a few min and listen to some music. im not tryin to talk u in to it, im just sayin come by check it out and see if u like it or not. its cool to watch a movie if your in your car and your waitin for some one etc. i like the fact that its never givin me a issue and i only had it for like 4 months.

well not just cuz its my deck your lookin to buy, i say come buy check it and see what ya think. i will work with the price and u will get the pioneer dvd bypass box that sells for 40.00 or so on ebay. i will throw in a 2gb flash drive that has some great songs on there . test tones as well sound sweeps alot of low bass songs .

well this thread must go on lol.For the wrong reasons ok i got it all fixed and i had a friend come over i put my gain at 28 out of 40 and it cut out and i must of blew my front fuse. crazy thing is i have a 150 amp fuse befor my back batt. im thinjking it blew after i took the back battery out.So like i said the back battery is out , i went to put it back in today and all is good. i have my gain half way my sub is seeing a tad under 700 rms.I have not gone past 24 im nervouse to.If i do and the sub stops and the back battery stops charging it's my alt right?

im gona bump this to see if any one thinks the back batt will have the same issue. my friend said i will but i have seen stock alts poer 3 batts .

Ok i have a update.I took every thing out but left my amp wired up. i tryed 2 grounds but it did not help. so i kept checking every thing then i took the power off the amp put it back on and i must add i did not screw the grounds(amp and back batt) all the way down at first then i wired the amp up put the terminals back on my front batt and rear batt and it read over 13.5. Any one know what happen pretty much i changed the ground and all iis good for now.

yea its a 110 amp alt, but so many people run 2 batts with no issue. it worked fine and now the amp is just off the back batt. when i take it all out and let's say the ground is fine should i move the ground cuz im unsure what is the best way to go about my issue. I need a game plan if the ground is still looking good. for the back batt not to see any power does not seam right no blown fuses and all new wire and electronics

if i try the new grounds and it still happens to do the same thing ill put the power wire to my amp and go from there. i have a spot where the stock subs was it right near the back batt i could do my ground there its would need to b sanded and i could use a 1 foot ground wire in that area . thanks bro

i just got in from looking things over thing's ,batt is at 12.3 and front batt is fine, all fuses are fine i pulled on the ground wire thats fine, i guess ill make another ground. can i drill a hole near the battery and do it there? cuz the amp's ground is near the batts ground now.

i willpull it all out, i have to do that to get to the grounds sucks big time. ill post up tomrrow leting u guys know what happen. could i use the same olt for the amp ground or drill my own? my ground has a ring connecter i would need to drill a whole .

tomrrow im gona try another spot for the batt's ground. here is the thing the amp's ground is pretty much near the batts ground and that ground area has been fine for 6 months or so. why would it charge up at first then not charge no more. i might run out with my dmm in a few mins. ihave a b-day partty to go to in a hour or so.

Im having a issue where my sundown 1200d is only running off my back batt and my bass turns off at higher volums(21 out of 40). my back batt is a kinetic 1200 and i have a stock front batt. i ran a power wire (4ga) to a fuse holder and from the fuse holder i went to the batt + to the amp+.Then grounded the batt in the back i used a diff screw then the amp ground but it's pretty much in the same area. All wire is knu 4ga and i have it all fused with 150 amp fuses.At first my back batt was charging up and was at 14.4 now its at 12.4 and my front is at 14.4. I did my grunds under my hood with 1/0 ga and i know with the back battery working i was not geting any volt issues. so what is cuzing my back batt to not charge? oh yea im wired at 1 ohm and my rca's are fine and the sub,amp,batt are less then a month old

the sub is still new ,about 3 weeks old or so i know some times its good to let it brake in at half volume but im gona go with lowering the gain (i did that 10 min ago) and go from there. i know its good to some times to heat the glue up a tad but not at the rate im doin it so im gona just keep checkin the sub. so u guys dont think the box is to big for the sub?

yup, my deck is at -2 and there is no bass boost and my gain is a tad under half way. im sure i should lower the gain a tad im gona try that and see. i would think its clipping but my sub is seein all clean power and im not getin bad volt drops at all. Ill try to lower the gain and go from there. i might go with a new box somthing smaller after sub and port 3 cubic feet, at this time my sub is sitin in a box that is 4 after sub and port area.

^^^ funny, im sick of tryin to get everything right even with my dmm im not sending more then 700 to the sub and it calls for 800. i could go even lower on the gain

i see a few people lookin im sure some one would have an idea. i went out befor and did some testing and im sure my sub is not seein to much power. i was playin some music for10 min or so i would say i was at 26 or so on my deck and when i stoped to get gas i could smell what i think is the coils. i know my box might b a issue but im not sure it is not painted nor is it carpeted.the smell is close to the mdf smell but has a hot smell as if the glue from the coils are coming undone.

i have a 03 tiburon gt with a 110 amp alt and kinetik 1200 in the back and a pioneer 3100d. my sub is a 15inch fi ssd in a 4 cubic foot box tune to 35 hz with 50inchs of port area,off a sundown 1200d. I have four ga in my car and i upgraded my grounds under my hood with 1//0 ga. I am not getin bad volt drops at all and i have my subsonic at 32 hz and no bass boost on my amp and no bass gain on my deck. My deck goes up to 40 if i put it at 28-30 i start to smell what i think is my coil. I am wired at 1 ohm and i checked the sub over and over and all is good. I tryed to lower my gain and i still get this.Could it be the box being to big or is it that my amp is putin out to much power at half gain seting for my sub? cuz i know the sundown will put out close to 1500 watts at 1 ohm if i can keep my volts up like i am. ps i think my deck is 2 volts but i could b wrong though
