  1. This sounds perfect to me! Most 8s don't need a lot of air space .5 will be great! Plus 8s don't normally have super low fs and I normall tune around fs! Edit: I would tune between 40-50 hrz
  2. yeah i dont think youll have enough room to come close to 6 15s! i would do 4 15s ported or 2 15s in a bandpass
  3. That's what I would set the f3 of the sealed section! Then tune the ported around 45 =D should get the lows hard! It's personal preference though! I know the skar products are low end monsters!
  4. No problem! In a band pass u tune the lows with the sealed box! Adjusting the size will give a your desired f3 I like my f3 around the fs of the sub! The ported section is what u tune high... Between 40-50hrz in normally good for the ported section!

  6. Ok so he loves how low it's getting so he doesn't want to mess with anything right now... I'm going to do a little more tuning n the amp I think I may have tuned it backwards lol it was a quick job in the mall parking lot becuz I was getting paperwork for school en he was being inpatient lol! The cc-1 would be real nice to do this system!!! Lol! He's going to do the sides and back in Capet that matches the stuff in the truck and vinyl on the face and top with grill cloth over the port! More pics coming soon!
  7. power acoustik p2-12 lows are getting it hard highs not so much so going to try to run the port exturnal if that doesnt get the highs better were prolly going to a 6x10 aero port
  8. This is what its lookin like i played with the airspace a little got it at 1.9 ported and 1.1 sealed! hooked it up and so far sounds great but i had it in my brothers car and couldnt tune his amp since its mounted in a impossible place and only got lows! tomorrow gotta hit the edges with the router and put it in! he hasnt decided what he wants to wrap it in! I got money on 1 week till im ripping it apart to get someones cell phone out lol!
  9. sold sorry! a member on here bought it a little while ago!
  10. building this one for a friend of mine! (Some how always gets free work) its going in the rear of his 04 f150! I had to fill the whole space with out getting to complicated so the ratio inst exactly 2:1 so this is what i came up with Chamber 1 - lower-freq. Vb = 1.251 cu.ft Fb = 45.86 Hz F3 = 34.43 Hz Fill = none Chamber 2 - upper-freq. Vb = 1.817 cu.ft Fb = 51.13 Hz F3 = 72.81 Hz I have most of it together so far just need to assemble the port cut the sides and then put the front on! SN: 1st band pass will hit all edges with the router once its done gotta make sure nothing pokes his leather!!!
