  1. Could you make me a siggy with this? Just like with my name somewhere on it, then with like my subs somewhere? Thanks
  2. It was the inertia switch! Thanks guys. Apparently my friend who was riding in the passenger seat must have yanked on it with his foot and it unplugged. Atleast it was a cheap fix!!!
  3. Ok thanks guys, sorry I jumped in the shower real quick. Im going to head down to the shop and get this fixed. Thanks again
  4. lol. I called DC Power right now, Dave said that he wouldnt suspect the alternator as the problem since I could still crank the motor, which does make sense, cause I should have been just about dry on power.
  5. Ok thanks i'll do that. I am gonna go tow it to my step dads shop right now. Time to call DC Power?
  6. 14.0v, 13.9v......... I didnt look down until I heard the first little baby purge it did, so thats what the meter read when It started acting up
  7. Oh, and I can still run the speakers with the key in the accessory position. I had the subs off though cause I didnt want to drain that much voltage. Any ideas?????????
  8. So my truck got to spend the night at 7/11. When I pulled in, it started doing the whole purging thing where the revs would drop low then high and it'd almost die. I noticed my voltage was right at about 12.9 when I pulled in. As soon as I parked, it died, the battery light came on, and it wouldnt start. I have the stock everlast battery up front, and a Kinetik HC800 in the truck. The vehicle is a 1997 Ford Ranger 4.0. I figured if it was my battery(ies) that it wouldnt have died in the manor it did, or at all for that matter, it would have simply not started up after the next time I turned it off, since while the motor is running the alternator should have been making enough power to keep it running. Right? Oh and FYI I was not playing the system loud and had not been for the whole night, I was driving around with a good friend who I havent seen in awhile and we were catching up and talking the whole time until it died. Please help me out guys! Thanks!
  9. Definitely, it was on pause when I pulled up cause I was looking for a song, he has his windows down gettin his G-lean on bumpin the stock system to some Gorilla Zoe. I put sliding down the pole on haha. He kinda looked shocked then gave a smile and a nod, you first look at my truck and you think "Oh look grandpa takes care of his Ranger" then your dome light falls out from my bass haha jk
  10. Lmao no, but I think I gave the guy sitting next to me a good laugh! Of course when I pull up next to a pearl white escalade on 26"s my truck has gotta start falling apart. lol.
  11. Haha I dunno I'd probably let it go for like $120, but I still need another $400 or so for the double din I want. haha
  12. Hahaha how did you see that! True though haha. It startled me actually, I thought someone threw something at my head through the window lol.
  13. So I really want to buy myself a nice flip out deck for my Ranger, but im nervous that the bass and the amount of dash movement and shaking I get will cause it to eventually malfunction/jam. Anyone have any experience with flip outs in situations with lots of bass and flex?
  14. Hah no I was just kidding. I got confused cause I had just woken up so I thought you were supposed to post how loud you've gotten and that would determine your amount of dots? lol. That's why I posted my TL score. Not one of those '1db off' ones. lol. Then, I realized how it worked. lol See, he got confused like I did. lol. It's about post count not actual deebeez.
  15. I think it should go by the real dBs you hit with proof
  16. Like this? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_19512_Rockford+Fosgate+Power+T1S652.html
  17. No I haven't. Does it make that large of a difference? I know several companies include adapter plates to mount a 6.5" speaker in a 5x7" hole.
  18. Here's the thing, im buying the speakers first then the amp. So it doesn't really matter. I am just trying to find the best sounding speakers
  19. These? http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11502_Kicker+KS680.html Hmm, was never really sure about Kicker as far as mids and highs speakers go. How much better would you say they were?
