    yep preout is fine....and that Eq does allow me to make it louder, but I haven't got a freaking clue how to set it properly....I don't know anything about bands, etc. So I'm lost and afraid I might ruin something...

    ok...first thing that came to my mind was eq, so I pressed an assload of buttons until I figured out how to raise it....there is a place that allows you to set a user eq... The buttons I can change, are level, b. width, and frequency respectively. But I have no idea how to set this. I don't want to fry anything or fuck up my speakers...anyone ever use this hu?

    When I turn the gains any higher at all it causes my music to like, knock out, and even does that with the gains set the way they are right now on loud songs.

    how can I check input voltage? also everything on the eq allows you to lower the volume of something, but nothing let's you raise it. if there is a way to raise the volume of something on the head unit, I can't figure it out.

    I have no way to....I think I'm going to bring it to the local shop (to have my alarm installation quoted) and see if that guy can figure it out...he's a cool guy... I have the speakers run in paralled off a 2 channel amp which put's out 200wrms at 2 ohms. They are all 4 ohm speakers. like so:

    well the infinity's are pretty dang good quality, but just don't touch on the loudness. and they barely move. I have just as many speakers as they do as well, except my mom's cuz she has harmon kardons with the mids and the mid bass.

    I have 4 speakers getting 100wrms each and they don't even touch my mom's, dad's, or grandparents' speakers in terms of loudness, or sq for that matter.....the speakers I am using are in my sig. Anyone know what might be wrong?

    lol that is what OPEC is....but it is international so no government can control it, and they have the right to charge us out the ass...If they all ran separately, gas would be WAY cheaper, at least 1.00 a gallon..

    hey guys, the DOW is up 180 points today, and unleaded gas is down .03c, so like I said, as we recover as a country, and as the world economy, based mainly off of our economy, raises, gas will lower, and all will be good. I'm going to sleep.

    Nuclear power FTMFW!!! Thats what I use! I heard something about these generators that would be put 2 miles under the ocean in the gulfstream current and they could power the whole east coast as opposed to natural gas. They would cause the environment minimal damage compared to all other energy forms and save us a fortune on gas, definitely bringing down the prices. That would be strait as hell.

    it's estimated that that reservoir would keep America satisfied for around a year.... possibly more.... There was a lot of protesting around it, and while I want cheaper gas, I think we should save it until the world runs very thin on oil, and use it for ourselves.
