  1. Just tryna give you some advice about tuning more precisely if you are going to do it by ear, the 40hz @ -10db doesn't require any device. Its just the tone to use, why else would Steve use it? lol

One of you should take a crack at it, tune by ear with the music then re-tune with either a -5 or -10db 40hz tone and see which ones seems louder to you.

  2. LOL and how many songs are -2db that are clean in the first place. Amps tuned by ear is now a last resort thing when you don't have a device to properly set the gain.

Most music is less than -15 to -10db so guess what bro, you aren't getting the full potential out of your music since you are tuning by ear with music which like I said is dynamic. Like banginhoe said, 40hz @ -10db and you will be perfectly fine, a lot safer than tuning with music.

  3. Stroupe mentioned it but not to an extent, check with your local credit unions about their interest rates on auto loans. The one in my county, San Mateo Credit Union, for a new car 61-72 month has to be at least $15k but the interest rate is 2.49% and used (2004+) is 2.79%, albeit you need good credit it is still low and I think CU's are generally lower (correct?).

My mom got her 2005 Jeep Liberty used, I think it was a rental, and went through another credit union. She is planning to trade it in and get a 2011 Accord within the coming weeks also going through the credit union.
