im not going to contribute because one, i dont run at .25, and two, i havent ran close to 10k before. I think others should follow and not give out guesses if you havent done this before. This isnt really meant for those who have posted already.

it would be nice, if a mod could lock this until it gets updated. Im as hyped for the build as anyone but impatient members bumping it do the top gets annoying when meade isnt even working on it.

Might have to pull out my badass stinger! I thought the adjustment screw was a voltage regulator! I have 15.8v at idle on my 12v system haterz!

here are my thoughts, i posted these on the youtube vid but ill put them here.
"Until the AD-1 can be produced and sold on a consumer level, I never see this really becoming the new standard for finding wattage. No matter how accurate the AD-1 is and inaccurate the clamp method is, there are too many people in the competitive scene who clamp, and WAY fewer who can afford to buy or find one of these to test over and over again at their homes. Some see clamping as accurate, which it isn't, others see it as power going from A to B, if B > A, then something is being done right."
A being test 1, B being test 2. Clamping being used as a reference point, so clamp 1 yielded 2000 watts ( inaccurate), but clamp 2 yielded 2400 watts( also inaccurate but an increase).

an rf1500.1bd with the gains set correctly will be perfect.

cant use a splitter before the RCAs into the EQ, then take the spitted off to the 2k, and the other split to the EQ? All you would have to do is reset gains and it would bypass the EQ.

i dont think you realize the scale of their business, the amount of items stocked, the amount people it has to go through just to update. No reason to not like sonic, they have the best CS you will find as far as a general online electronics store. You sound sour when in reality you could have gotten a refund and went else where..

Looks sic bro. only question I have is... what about us people that live in the desert areas? Flash point say 89F. West Texas heat.... 110+ for months in the summer. IIRC the record couple summers ago was 127.

I got the ZVX 15's in last night, and I got to try them today. They don't seem to be as loud as I thought, My SPG seems alot louder.
go bassless for a month or two, then any two 15s will sound like 18s. It is a weird deal but it will make you upgrade and upgrade and upgrade.....

making motors bigger and bigger isnt always a good thing, too much motor will end up in wasted ferrite essentially. Only good to a certain point.

Thanks Revo. Could someone tell me the advantages of running at 1 ohm instead of 2? Do people just do it to get more power out of their amp? Still looking for feedback on the sd-2 10 in subs. Thanks y'all for the kind help.
the difference being....
1. yes there is more heat, but nothing that will cause fires or explosions behind you or amplifier failure.
2. The advantage of 1 ohm over 2 is simply more power
3. When an amplifier is 1 ohm stable, it is designed to play down to 1 ohm, so you do not need to worry about extra heat and the heat causing failure of the amp
3a. that being said, that doesnt mean the amp cant overheat because of user error....
4. 2 ohms has more efficiency than 1, but due to the power increase, 1 ohm still gives out significantly more power

low power doesnt cause subwoofers to clip, clipping is from a clipped wave...
