  1. That would be a lot of driving but I was considering going to key west and back in the same day.. I think I'm gonna head out to Naples at like 10am, should be at the shop by like 12-1230 if I hit any traffic. I'm taking my new car or I'd hook them up and enjoy it on the way back. I gotta hold back on the drive back though cuz I know I'm gonna get the itch to make a quick lil high speed pass. Especially since the dealer that I bought the car from threw in 2 little toys, one being an Escort 9500 radar detector. But I'm like 75% sure that I'm going to Naples though.. At like 8-9am I'm gonna call a couple friends and if any of them wanna take the boat out to do sum fishing, then im gonna go catch me sum dinner lol
  2. Beejays Cavi is just insane looking... What kind of numbers is he doing now?? Last I heard he was in the mid 50s @ the dash. The potential that that system has is insane in that tiny car. Although if it was in a more "number friendly" walled off vehicle he'd be putting up sum nasty scores.
  3. Nice job with the newish setup Logan, it looks pretty loud... Have u strapped it on the meter yet??
  4. Well I'm about 4 1/2 hours already into my day off and was thinking about what I should do for the remainder of the day. I live in Ft Lauderdale, FL and I just checked the weather report, it's suppose to be sunny with a high of 86 today. My thought was just to pick up a female friend of mine this morning and head down to Key West for the day, then drive back up later that night. I wanna take a nice long drive in my new car but Key West is about 3.5hrs away from me each way, but Key Largo is only 1.5hrs away. Another idea is just to go into Miami and chill out on south beach scouting the broads and just have a good time. Have a couple buddies down there, beach during the day and then head back at night to party it up. That's only like a 25min drive but I'll end up blowing the same money I would on the long drive to Key West. Last option would be to drive over to my buddies shop in Naples(1hr 45min drive each way) to go trade him my 2 15" HCCAs + 2 15" Mojo quad coils(older model) for a pair of BNIB 15s he has that I want. Either a pair of 9515g w/ kevlar cone + stiff suspension or 2 15" TC 5200s he just finished reconing. Things just going through my mind all night and can't figure out where to go/what to do. All of them have their positives and can't decide what to do.
  5. Please don't post information this incorrect just to try and make yourself look intelligent. Pretty much everything that you've said is incorrect and will only make things more complicated for the OP. If you don't know the correct information, then don't post something like this. If u need sum help man to learn things like this, ask around before you throw out ludicrous and very incorrect information. You can PM me or I'm sure many others on here would be more than happy to help u out. What you're trying to say is that because it's rated for 1500w @ 1ohm, then wiring at that ohm load will put much stress on the amp and getting the 1500w you'll need to crank the gains. If this was the case then every amp would be "stressed" when wiring it to the lowest manufacturer rated ohm load, which obviously is not the case what so ever. Seems as though you've never correctly set gains before or even have a real idea how to do so.
  6. DD will do just about anything for you but it will cost extra and usually alot.
  7. Gains don't need to be set high to get rated power, I have no idea where you're getting that info from but it's incorrect. To the OP - It's a great dollar vs output amp and will do rated power @ 1ohm. So just get D4s and wire down to 1ohm daily and it will be perfect for those subs. For like $150+ shipping there isn't a better amp out there that's brand new.
  8. You're giving a single 12" L7 1500w daily?? I also doubt that it was blown because u didn't "break it in long enough", more than likely was from overpowering or excessive clipping.
  9. This is another common misconception... Just because they handle more power and can get louder than W0s doesn't mean they're "better". W0s only need like 250 watts each and on that power I'd bet any money that they would be louder than L7s.
  10. This is like comparing apples to oranges, very different from each other in many ways(price, power range, SPL capability, etc) If u were truly giving an L7 3500w, then you're pretty lucky it lasted that long. Have an extremely hard time believing you actually did so.
  11. Jake just wanted u let u know that I finally was able to fax over my Team Sundown sheet, just to give u a heads up. Thought it would be easier to just let u know on here instead of adding to your endless emails lol.
  12. Build yours up, strap it on the TL and let us know how it worked out for ya.
  13. You my friend are an idiot for this entire post. The JLs do rated power... A working $200 1000/1 is an insane price, brand new they are $700+(hence why i thought it might be stolen)... They are extremely reliable amps, so if u can state how the memphis will be more reliable please do so. Please actually think before you make a post like this, really makes you just look dumb. Just because u think JL is overpriced doesn't mean it isn't very high quality product, which JL actually is. To the OP - I can almost guarantee you that you'll see very little if any gain by switching amps. That Memphis amp is extremely well built and does rated power, possibly a lil more. The only place u may see a small gain would be in efficiency, since the Memphis is known to be a little power hungry. But at 1000w you will have very little problems will voltage drops either way. Personally I'd keep the amp you have, buy the 1000/1 and re-sell it to make a good profit.
  14. You will be just fine with around 3k daily on that sub.. as long as you sets the gains correctly, make sure u have no clipping and have sum restraint with volume control you should be fine. Btw I've seen 9500s take 4-6kw daily in very very select setups and they were run by some experienced competitors with a ton of time on the 9500s. Also they were on the kevlar cones w/ an extremely stiff suspension. I would never suggest running 5k daily to any woofer though, even though after imp rise it will never seen that much power. A "true" 5k after rise will do sum damage to just about any woofer for daily purposes.
  15. I must have missed this amp when he asked which of the 2 were better, come on man he asked which of the 2 were better... Not opinions on similar power range amps. To the OP - Either amp for $200 is a good deal as long they are in working order. Each one will do rated power and are very well built. I see u mentioned he got the JL for $200, I'd be very weary that it's stolen for that price.
  16. Both are very good amps but aren't exactly the best value per dollar out there... What are the prices on them??
  17. Tune higher and you'll see a big difference... 30hz tuning doesn't exactly cover the entire octave range.
  18. How much power are u running??
  19. If it's an original then it possibly could be worth a ton, if it's a reproduction then not so much. See if there is dating on the bat anywhere.
  20. Eat right, do a lot of cardio and weigh train at the same time... These are the basic steps to losing weight and turning fat into muscle. Most people who have high body fat content will gain muscle right off the bat and not see the immediate weight loss because your body is just simply converting fat to muscle. But you gotta understand that muscle will burn calories faster/more efficiently than fat will. Creatine isn't taken to help out with muscle aches btw. I'll send u a PM in a minute with sum tips that might help with muscle soreness following workouts.
  21. I had teammates of mine in college that took it and ended up with great success. But just like every substance of that nature, as soon as u stop using it your body will readjust to where it was before. Plus their are a lot of companies out there that peddle garbage HGH that will be extremely harmful to your body if it's not the correct chemical makeup/volume level.
  22. The man that resurrected the Vikings and had dominated the NFL since day 1....... Adrian Peterson. /story
  23. From like 7-15 i collected die cast exotics that I would get at big car festival/shows. I had like 30 of them all on their own stands but they were a lot smaller than yours is. I sold them off when I moved and surprisingly made more than I thought. I had all the late 80s and 90s supercars, like Ferrari F40, F50, F355, Mclaren F1, Lambo Countach + Diablo, Jag XJ220 and a bunch of others.
