  1. Just watch Belly or 25th Hour and call it a night... They're two of my favorite movies of all time and are great combos of drama and action.
  2. Couldn't agree more... I found it hilarious when RD first came out and everyone in the CA world just looked at them as re-badged Atomics, which they pretty much are.
  3. It is very dependent on the car, but they are a hell of a lot easier to get loud than trunk cars without folding seats if that's any consolation.
  4. You're gonna need exact dimensions, what kind of power you're running, what you're looking for in a setup, etc if you want a proper design done.
  5. Noticed this too... Can't see why he'd have a composite cone and then use an 8" CF dustcap. My guess is that it's a standard DD cone w/ huge cap that covers 80% of the cone. Most people wouldn't be the wiser, especially the average CL looker.
  6. Get a photobucket account and post the links w/ IMG codes around them so they post directly into the thread.
  7. If this model is anything like the other RF Power amps are, then very few places will repair them.
  8. That might be the rough volume of the full trunk but by no means is it usual space for an enclosure.
  9. Very nice pair... I have a bunch of Konakis motors sitting in my storage unit waiting for some fun. When they first came out buying the entire woofer was worth the price for the motor alone.
  10. For 2-3 grand you won't be able to do 2 18" BTL + 2 AQ 2200Ds + proper electrical... Since you already have a BL 12 + 1200D, I'd suggest just getting like 2 more of each. That would put u around a grand spent and would leave u with the rest of your budget for electrical + box setup.
  11. They get very loud very easily, it's not just a coincidence that generally the loudest street a,b,c cars in the US are CRXs... They have a small cabin area and large cargo area for the size of the car.
  12. What model woofers are they?? Also I wouldn't expect someone to do a design for ya for free. But there are sum people on here that will do a nice design for a small fee.
  13. I went to high school and still BS a few times a year with Sebastian Telfair if he's in the area.. He had soo much talent and things just really never panned out for him due to multiple different factors. But the most famous person I've hung out with was Pitbull at his home in Miami.. Went there with a bunch of other people after we met in a club one night this summer. One of the chicks I went out with that night Pitbull was hitting on and he invited us all back to his place for an after party. He's a really cool dude with a pretty dope place and knows how to have one hell of a party.
  14. In a ported enclosure you can tune for specific hz by adjusting the length of the port... In every different sized enclosure the length will differ for whatever you are trying to tune to.
  15. You worded this horrible, prolli the reason why no one has responded so far... How many woofers are you using?? and what amp(s) are you gonna be running?? How much space do u have available to use??
  16. I doubt that you can fit 2 18s behind the back seats, depending on how large the box is though.
  17. External aeros = the ugly loudness lol... After u get the specs all done, let me know how long the port has to be to get around the 33-35hz tuning and then I'll work on getting it cut/flared for ya.
  18. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say is was an install issue, which is the case with prolli 99.9% of blown woofers. Run the SSD without question, even without any extras.
  19. Diz setup done be soundin pretty damn dope yo diz shit gone be boom bangin off da hook like YOOO ya feel me dawg... Fo real mane u gon be heard from wayy round the way wit diz heeer bangin system Diz shit gon be str8 up dumpin hard on dem low notes like BOOOOM.
  20. I only have full ports and didn't have anything to measure them with when I went out to my storage.. I have 3 different 8" full PVC ports that I flared the ends with, all were used on old boxes that I did. The three range from around 8" to I think around almost 20" on the longest one. Like I said before just do a design off the specs I left in my last post(if u want to go that route) and if u end up using that for your actual enclosure I'll cut one of my old ports down to fit whatever u need.
  21. Which way are you firing the sub + port(s)?? For the huge amount of power you're running here is my suggestion --> 4.75ft3 @ 34hz, 38-47.5in^2 of port area using a single 8" aeroport.. Idk what works best as far as which way sub/port(s) are firing or I'd suggest that also. I'm guessing woofer forward, port facing upwards or something of that manner. Do a design using an 8" aero, let me know how long it needs to be including flare, and I'll cut one of my extra eight inchers down if I have one long enough.
