what impedence were u running that u were getting such a rise to get less than half power? wish i understood impedence rise and its causes. i'm thinking about this but its a bit above my budget and less power than i was hoping for

thats why i got rid of my bandpass that i built in my trunk, #1 it didn't meter well, #2 no matter the port size i always had noise, i kept going bigger and bigger and the noise never went away, and #3 it just never did sound right

yea, ronnie fucked my season too, sorry for ya. the pursuit of amps since has not went well. I'm with ya on the trunk car thing as well, i've had hell with mine. i messed with a 6th order bandpass with my 9515. ended up with lots of port noise no matter what i did with the port for it, ended up knocking out the whole front wall which made it a ported box all the way at the rear of the trunk and gained 2 dbs. Since i gave up on working with the trunk and moved to the rear seats with a half wall. my results are not much better meter wise but for daily it made a big difference. I believe my car and the meter just don't get along.
