Naw i have a perfect size bolt, it's just the rubber cover on the factory bolt, it has a metal brace on the inside that the bolt goes through, i dont wanna mess it up
-
Exactly man i hate when stuff like thats gets in the way, im stuck right now and i've been at this all day
-
Im keeping the factory wires
-
Are you sure it would work cuz i dont wanna cut the rubber and then it not come out right, cuz then my car would be :censored:
-
Im not removing the old wires, i was gonna add to it, i was gonna remove the stock adapter and add a new one because the bolt on my stock adapter is so short i cannot add to it
-
Also some people has 2 stock ground wires, and 1 stock positive positive wires going into there adapters, well i have 2 of both ahhhh
-
Alright So I bought a lot of parts and wire for the big three, and i am getting a 230 amp alt, so i decided to go and do the big three so that when my alt gets here all i have to do is install it. Well the big three on my car is so freakin difficult. 1 it's a side mount, 2 the stock wires are so freakin short, i dont think i can even cut the old adapter off and put my new stinger side mount adapter on because the wires are so short. There are the wires going into the adapter, then there is a positive and a ground that run towards the windshield (fuse box maybe). So right now im just in I HATE MY LIFE mode until i can figure out what to do, if anybody has ideas please help. The reason i want a bigger alt and the big 3 is because the stock wiring on it is like 8 gauge or 10 maybe. and there is barely any space to cut the wires or put the terminals on or anything there is a big piece that runs to the air filter right by the battery. Any ideas, advice, or information would be appreciated please. This isn't mine but here is a pic of under the hood http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/vehicl...-engine-480.jpg

You could probably use the same concept as the jl audio stealth boxes. i have heard a few and they get nice sq and loud. you could build one yourself using different specs, and it should come out nice -
