So u think using the Audio Control cross over will help clean thing's up. I loved the feeling when i first hit 151. but i have never been able to get that loud agent.

I love my amp's im guessing im going to have to install my Audio Control 17 ban's cross over/line driver. I was thinking that i was not going to need it with these amp's. I re-move it when i got these amps thinking it would not need it.

So it's my amp. Im running a Sundown 4500 to them at .5 and it move's them but for comp only for daily i bring it up to 2ohm. I also had my amp turn up 1/2 this time not 1/4 like it was for daily. ???? Clipping maybe? They sound bad ass, but need to find out what is causing this. Too much power??

DC lvl 5 18" box is 6cu per woofer and tune to 32 hert. each sub haves it's own chamber's. not sharing port, in other words two separate box 's in one. So I can run one if need to.

So it's not my amps right? I was looking at the leads and they look like a firecracker after they explode. ill have to post pict later. What's the going rate on re-cone's for team member of DC audio????? I need to do both of my sub's.

So My quick fix only held up for the first time up. I was not getting close to what i can do only doing 147.8. Before the leads broke off. So i had Jeffry and a few other (chino,OD sounds) help me out and do another soldering job in between, metering. Never was able to hit 150+ it was a sad day for my DC's. I will be doing some home work on this and trying to find out how to stop this and if i need to ask Rusty for a special re-cone that haves 3 speaker leads per coil and have them shrink wrap. I also found out that my speaker where the old model and did not have the leads woven into.

how do i do it if the rope don't reach each other. use some speaker wire or 10g power cable

I need some great idea's to do a fast re-pair on my lvl5 18". We where tuning it for a show today and two of the leads that feed into the coil look like the explode. Need to re-pair for show i know it's a long shot but need to make it to this show. Please help and any pict will help. Show star at 10:30 am. only 20min drive there. Cali cru

That's what i was thinking. I wish there was more pee's around me running DC Audio, But i hope to help change that. Im reping and showing how low and loud DC 18" lvl 5 can go. DC for life.

LOL i don't need hand outs only Support on the competition lanes. Keeping things working great and new Idea's on ways to run the amps more efficiently. I have bought my amps from other member's and work hard at keeping my system up and running. No diss to any one only trying to know that we have the support of are Brand if we ever need it. I did not care that i paid over the pre-sale prices for a great product, My Sundown 4500D and my Sundown 100.4. I will always run and support sundown on all my vehicles. I cant wait for shows and knowing that my shit have the respect of many competitors in my area. We are not all show and no go, My Sundown's have shut a lot of big mouths up, 150+ on a TL. Great product keep it coming don't slowdown run them over or turn it up.

That's what i was also asking, I have also e-mail Rusty and called but i only get chris. I have been waiting to put on my DC Audio Sticker for that same reason. Not knowing if i was going to have the backing of DC Audio or Rusty. Like for re-cones and if ask if your part of the dc team. I have my DC Eng sticker on and have been getting a few order's for some dual alt's. But we dont carry them in the shop like we do DC Subs.

Im running a pair of DC Lvl 5 18" at .5 with a Sundown 4500. Daily the amp is only 1/4 but they can take about 3/4 of it for comp. they will love it.

Supplying the power is a pair of DC Eng Alt's and some XS batt's. * * * Will like some feed back on other way's to seal up those rear window's? Amp's is running at .5 only 1/4 up on gain.

Congrats, i hope you work ur ass off and you save up. Not for a new system but for hard time ahead. I was in the same spot as u where no work,friends where no where to be found.
