How do I know what to play when I enter an SPL competition?

So I was messing with even flow by pearl jam in audacity, trying to bass boost it, and evidently it's clipping in some parts, but it's only in random high spots... how bad is this?

Aight because a Song I have hits 31 Hz at 12 DBs and I'm trying to boost it, and I can and that's the only thing that caught my eye.

I'm using Windows media players scope view to determine clipping while bass boosting with audacity, and I was wondering, if there are lines that go straight up and down, is that clipping?
