yeah theres 1 shop here and all they push is JL and im not knocking it at all. but dont knock other brands. but there is one shop ive been going to for bout 2 yrs and this guy is pretty straight up. if anything he wants you do do the installs and actually tells me how to do it as well. and if i fuck it up he tells me to ocme by and he will show me what i need to do. there is also another shop about 1/2from here who sells DD but i wouldnt buy shit from that shop. they have screwed alot of people. in all honesty i dont give a fuck what your shop sells just have respect for the guy with no money and the guy with alot of money.

maybe its just me but i tell people bring me a 6pack and then ask do you have an amp kit and they have that dumb look on their face and then i say matter of fact go get a few ribeyes and a 12 pack and some litle debbie snack cakes. and ill hook you up.

about 2 hrs ago went to my local shop and did 133.2. i have stock electricla still. just the big 3 done. have a hifon 1608d at 2ohms. built a box over the weekend. sounds alot better. will be installing another hifon to it. and i have a 2001 dodge ext 1500. how much harder will it be to get another 7dbs. and it was metered at the window on passenger side. im strictly tryin to get loud and low. and i have 2 re sx 12's. preus amp version. anyhelp would be appreciated. and when i get second amp will just be adding another battery.

hey man not trying to give you shit but if you really dont understand this have someone build a box for you. reason im saying this is because i just built a box like 3 hrs ago and i put the port in a wrong placeand its doesnt look like an L shape. (dontask) and i have some knowledge and my father is a carpenter and when he looked at the box he said hey son the opening at the back of the box doesnt look like your other box does. all im saying is. if you are willing to try just be patient and by like 100 sheets of MDF. j/k because you will screw up.

nah ive had it for 6 months. its going in the wifes jeep. and to be honest i wasnt even looking to buy a new HU. i was going to buy some beefy 8's until the guy offered me that HU for that price and i couldnt say no.

i have the 5030 and it took me a while to figure that fukker out. so im hoping this one be as bad.

ok i just bought this HU for $300. did i get a deal. it was $500. he let me have it for $300. ive dealt with this guy for yrs and has never steered me wrong. i have the eclipse 5030 now. how much of a diff will i get.

im confused as hell the 1508 was like $280 i think online from the dd site but when i called a local dealer said $175. but then i sawe the 6.5 was like $175.

just dont be afraid to ask questions and then ask the same question if you didnt understand the answer. and another rule of thumb if it starts smoking then something is not right. i also thought i knew something about car audio but come to find out i didnt know as much as i thought i knew. so just ask questions and yes by the right tools. and dont buy cheap. but you dont have to spend a ton of money as well.
