well i cannot upgrade the alterantor in my colorado due to the fact that the dealership here are dickheads and say that if i change the alternator it voids all sorts of warrenties... so my question is i am planning on running 2 kicker zx1500.1's and 2 kicker 350.2's, if i have a redtop under the hood, 2 runs of pos and neg 0gauge to the batcap 8600 in the bed of the truck will this be enuff to sustain for daily driving. big 3 will be done, the batcap is rated at 9600 amps. also is there any other options, and also i believe my stock alt is around 100 amps

ok well i got one, only had to wait in line for 13 hours. i live in fort mcmurray, alberta, canada, we have a population of about 80 thousand ppl. the only place in the city that got the m was walmart and they only got 6 i was 3rd in line. but then again that thirteen hours was spent in -20 degrees celsius, so it made it seem a little long. but us being canadain had the perfect solution to the cold, we all brought hockey sticks and had a big old game of street hockey in the empty walmart parking lot. :^ and everybody saying all this shit calling these people fucking nerds, yes some people are what one would call a nerd, they like to play video games, wow so what they probly think we are all fucking crazy for spending all of this time and money on car audio. also of the 5 other people that were in line with me 2 of them were dads waiting in line to get them for there sons, 1 was a gamer, and me a my two freinds were about the fathest from nerds you can get, if there wwas catagories we would be jocks i guess. so liek i said before, most of these people arent stupid, they jsut want one like me, so thats my 2 cents...

i dont really know the resolution and all that shit but my monitor is a 32 inch panel monitor on the wall and my comp uses the hdmi cable to hook it up lol

well i didint really mean trikc i kinda meant that the average joe would assume that it costs roughly triple the price of the gear to get it install lol, and yea i am really thinking about doing it

ok thanks alot, so they trick u when u see the adds for like 1499 for a complete air ride system cuz then it costs like 3 times that to get it put in dammit, maybe the car audio shop i work at can help me out on the install

ok, so i am not a complete noob to cars and car audio, but to bags i am. do any of u know how much work it is to put a 2006 chev colorado 2wd with the 4 banger on bags and to lay frame cause i have no idea,also how much does this sort of suspension cost....what sites to go to too look at these truck and kits......also how is a bagged truck in the winter, like if there is tons of snow can i just keeps the bags all the way up and cruze and then when i get to a clear spot lower it with no prob in the winter.? also any recommended kits or sites for kits thanks

yea car audio i like but i cant get it very often for sum reason it doesnt get sold much in northern canada and import tuner is pretty sweet

same jsut got the new performance audio and sound today PAS mag ftw

i just realized how much i really love car audio. like any spare moment of the day i am either on forums or reading some sort of car audio mag, even if it is the same mag i read yesterday. even at school im like can i go to the library to work on history, then i juss surf the forums. also even after almost 7 months of having my system i still find myself taking the long way every where i go so that i can hear that one last song. working at a car audio shop also helps fule my hobby. just wondering if everybody else was like this :^ P.S some pics of my truck and install should be up in the member show off soon.
