No. Ammonia is fine on Chrome. On cars that I detail, I wax the wheels. But ammonia will strip the wax. Polish doesn't put any protection on, just makes it shine. I would wash, dry, polish, then wax. Then every day or or two, wipes them down with a spray bottle of water and a microfiber.

I was looking at getting 2 8" Kicker subs until I read "the hate on Kicker thread". In that thread someone posted that for the same amount of money, you could get something better. I want better just don't have alot of money to spend on my truck since losing my second job. So what would be around the same price but better than Kicker? When I bought the truck it already had a small system in it, but the subs were blown. It has what looks to be a 200 watt RF amp, running the subs, and the deck running the mids and highs. Fairly new to the whole stereo thing. But have been watching SMD videos on youtube almost since they started. I have found some really good info on here and hope you guys can point me in the right direction. The whole stereo needs to be redone but for now I want some new subs. I have upgraded my alternator to a 140 amp and plan on doing the big 3 this weekend. So what about some subs??? Oh and I only can spend around a hundred bucks...
