  1. Alright guys just got around to posting this. My amp arrived a couple days ago. I bought it off a buddy of mine that lives a good while away for college. Anyways had one of these BRAND NEW in the box and i paid $130 for it. The price includes shipping cost. This retails for $219 on Rockford website so i think i got a deal. Now on with the pics. Sorry some are dark and blurry just got off work and was tired. So these will power my 2 12" MTX Jackhammers 250RMS 500max Right now they are seeing 320 watts RMS according to Rockford but there amps are underrated.
  2. yeah craigslist can be the home of many scammers. Use the common sense rule "if it seems to good to be true, it is" Also do your research if you see someone selling a amp. See how old it is and what it retails for and go from there.
  3. save up the money and get a good amp, I know that waiting sucks but it will be worth it in the long while, OR you could just buy one sub and get a good amp. Or hit up craigslist and see what someone local is trying to sell. Then you wont have to worry about shipping and stuff. You could also try google. I found a RF 500-1 amp for $133 online. Just do some searching and save up some money.
  4. Yeah man your good. Aint nothin out of the ordinary.
  5. Hey man i am not a employee but u do believe the if a payment in paypal is unclaimed it means they have not received your payment.
  6. Hey man thanks! I just found out on a jeep forum that there should be a rubber grommet somewhere around the gas or break peddle. That is where the hood release runs through so that looks like my best bet.
  7. yea i have takin that into consideration too. Also i have some rubber grommets coming in tomorrow. I ordered some and they are coming with my amp, power wire. So i made sure to get some.
  8. Yea i think that is what i am going to have to do. I just put the craftsman on charge and i hope that it will get through.
  9. Hey thanks. I am looking everywhere apparently i am not the only one with this problem, as a Google search brings up a bunch of questions. Most of the wires in mine are hidden behind this plate looking thing that is welded to the passenger side on firewall and most wires run in there but i cant get to it. Thanks everyone. Anything else i am open to any suggestions.
  10. Well there is nothing wrong with drilling BUT i would rather that be a last resort type thing. I have some rubber grommets on the way. Should be here along with my amp tomorrow.
  11. Well the batt is on passenger side. But i will still look into it. Thanks
  12. Okay guys i am stuck. I have a 1993 4x4 jeep grand Cherokee and i have looked everywhere and there is no where to run the power wire through the firewall. No unused grommets that i can find and all the ones that i can find are not big enough. Someone told me that there is one but i dont see it. If you have any ideas shoot them my way. I am trying not to drill through the firewall just yet. Thanks BTW i am using 8gauge power wire.
  13. Nice anymore and the damn subs would come out of the box lmfao. Anyways nice video and setup.
  14. Yeah i need to get a new transmission. It slips goin from 1st 2 2nd, and i just got a new front drive shaft to put on it. The old one was horrible. Yeah i like jeeps my buddys 92" did 148? i believe legal.
  15. Nice i recently just got a 1993 jeep cherokee 4x4 and i am putting a(small) system in it for now. Till i can gather up some serious cash. But jeeps are nice non the less.
  16. Hey thanks for that! I really appreciate it. I will make sure i do that. There is also a UPS HUB? i believe and they deal with strictly sprint cell phones? My buddy works there and says if the others dont work out he could get me on there.
  17. I live in louisville, ky we have the world hub and also a couple other locations through out. but its better then 7.00 hr working 20hr a week.
  18. I got a whole tube of liquid nail that i was going to use on another project but wound up not. So go ahead a use it?
  19. Thought about doing something like this 2 my door panels in my jeep, well i wouldnt but my buddy who knows what he is doing would.
  20. Thanks, Cuz 3/4 MDF here is $30 for a sheet 49" wide x 97" long so not much room for error. But i help my buddy build his so i have a little experience but i wouldn't love this as much if it was perfect ALL the time, trial and error. I just dont like to much error. lmao!
  21. Yeah i know people on here have already been a shit ton of help. The guys that designs all my buddys boxes was out of town and someone took my dimensions and sent me a pic of what it should look like with all the cut lengths and what it would be tuned to for the jeep.
