  1. I'm not much for putting stickers on my own car, but this would be the exception!!!!!!! :clapping:   I love it!!! It would be fun to see how many people would not understand this one.
  2. We have really bad wind episodes here in Wyoming. On the main bypass around town (Casper) there were gusts up to 90MPH and took 7 vehicles off the road a couple days ago.
  3. So I finally got a pic of the new setup, I think life is gonna slow up a bit here if the next few days so I may be able to get the build pics(not that there is a whole lot) off the camera and post those as well.
  4. You should do some research on Fonda and what she did and said about the soldiers. It was the media mostly, using people like her that tarnished the public opinion of the military.
  5. Since your Suburban is stock, and the wheels are not adding a significant amount of weight, there really is not much of a need for better brakes. Meade most defiantly needed to with all the extra weight he has packed in his Hoe.
  6. So true. The sad thing is that none of these hero's get the recognition in death that they deserve. I guess you can thank Jane Fonda and the rest of the Vietnam/Korea Era Hippies for this. Giving the solders of the US a bad name and making them looked down on for the first time in our history. Even the true hero's such as him.
  7. I'll keep that in mind, they guy that i know has built his own 700hp, 10 sec. mustang, so I have good faith in him. I find it appropriate to get the corvette engine covers when I do this. How cool will that be, lift the hood on a Tahoe and see CORVETTE-6.0
  8. Thanks for the links guys! I think I've decided to go ahead and just build one. Going to get a salvage 5.3, bore it to the 4.0 for the ls1 setup. Going to stroke it to a 6.0, with LS1 style heads, and a high end cam, and roller rockers and push rods. The only suck think is going to be the waiting. But, got a friend that is more than willing to help, free labor
  9. The engine in my Tahoe has been going downhill for the last year, and I figure it would be easier to rebuild the engine and transmission than to try and sell it for something new. Has anyone here taken there GenIII LM7 and turned it into an LS1?
  10. Well, if you had read. The chart denotes a semi wet circuit racing track!
  11. Thats the boat i'm in. Gonna get my nephew some stuff to teach him with.
  12. I lost!!!! LOLs. On a technicality, you lose to, because you had to think of the game to post about the game.
  13. The most simple way to put it, those are track tires. They are meant for one thing and one thing only, race cars on a race track. Not daily driving, not street racing, a track. Why would you even think this is a good idea. That is just dangerous, your worried about rain, those will not even grip well on normal roads.
  14. I told my nephew that when he got his car running, I would show and teach him the ways of car audio. Well that time is coming near, so I'm looking for a good starer setup. I'm thinking 2 10's or a decent 12, need an amp too. Trying to keep it at or really close to $300. Any of you guys have any thing? An
  15. I stayed home for the first year of college, doing classes through a campus outreach. I moved out at 19 and lived with my Aunt and Uncle while finishing my first degree on campus. Went to the University of Wyoming on transfer after I got my associates. Lived with friends there, left after a semester at 21. Got a good job now and bought my first house almost 2 years ago at 23 (25 now).
  16. Post it when your done, should be interesting where you go with it!
  17. O yea, congats on the interview, still not a whole lot of that going on right now. And I would advise against the sweater too. Not really a good look unless your going to grandmas house. Stick with the the polo with a collar, or a button up t-shirt with a collar. DO WEAR PANTS, you don't work there yet and need to make an impression. It is a business casual appeal, makes you look "together". Nice shoes too (once again not dress shoes, this isn't a desk job after all). Couple other things if your interested... Wear a decent watch, gives a look that you are time oriented and organized. Turn you cellphone OFF, not just on vibrate, better yet don't even take it in with you. Distractions are distractions, you don't need them with the interview going on. Congrats and good luck man!
  18. Don't wear shorts! you wont be wearing them to work, and they are way to much of a laid back look. Need to be somewhat professional. Wear nice bluejeans at a minimum, slacks (not dress pants)would be best.
  19. You could start with how the low voltage system in a car works. Start at the engine and alt, how everything connects together. Then basic speaker "how they work". Advanced electrical options. Media solutions in car audio and video!
