  1. a friend of mine is selling 2 15 in soundstream reference subs. i believe them to be 2500rms each i could be wrong though. be want 700 for the subs. he also has a amp, cap, and double din headunit. if you want more info just ask or pm me or something. sorry not 2500 each 2600 together. 1300 rms each http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_23866_Soundstream-R1-15.html
  2. yea just make it however you want it. its not a competition vehicle. it will sound fine any way you put it
  3. well it sounds like they had one in stock when you called back after getting the wrong one and then when you called again to see where the second one was they were all out but still had yours for you, they probably try to ship on certain days so its cheaper and they make more money so they waited till the next week when they had a ton of orders to ship and shipped it all at the same time.
  4. yea put the power on the side with the battery. if you have to make your own hole through the firewall its not that big of a deal. but i have experienced the difference, my first system i ran all the wires taped together on the same side and got interference, not a lot but it was there, then i learned thats why and i switched the wires and no more interference...
  5. no the whole rear seat goes down. but it goes down 1/3 and 2/3
  6. but.... you should have 8.5:1 pistons to effectively run a turbo...
  7. the rear seat folds down on that car also. but i was talking about the box on the right. the one on the left is one that was bought for his old subs. we made the one on the right.
  8. my friend and i built a box for his 2001 grand am and we fit 2 15s in it and didnt not have to build inside the trunk im not sure what the cu in are of that box but here is a pic of it. the one on the left also fits in his trunk.
  9. grand am's have big trunks and the rear seat folds down and you have a back seat still.
  10. are you taking out the back seat?
  11. if you want a lot of space look for a jeep wrangler and take out the back seat... and use a sealed box with 2 or 4 15s and keep your windows open lol
  12. you should take off all the badges to... i hate decals of any kind and it makes the truck look much cleaner...
  13. i have a 2001 extended cab dodge ram and i have 2 10in polk audio subs under my back seat. they face forward and i dont lose any space at all. i ordered my boxes from pickup specialties. com and they work great. .66 cu in sealed box and the subs want .65 or something like that, very close to what the boxes are. and my amp and cap are also under the seat out of the way and out of view.
  14. yes 1 farad = 1000 watts is a good base to go by.... just to answer your question....
