i think they get a little more than 20..some people I hear are getting close to 30mpg...I really wanted to do the sbc but I really want to drive the truck around but Idk about doing so if prices shoot up that high...plus I live about 25 miles from my job...reguardless if I use the motor or not I'm going to keep it so I can rebuild it and maybe use it on another project

well I bought a s10 without a motor since I had a carbed sbc to put in but I've been hearing gas is projected to go up to $5 a gallon so I don't know if I should stay with my original plan or throw a 2.2 back in..what also has me thinking of doing this is that my daily right now only gets about 15mpg..what do you guys think?

well I installed my lrd 6 link on my dime but Im stuck at what size bolts I need for the bags themselves...I can figure out what diameter but I have no idea how long the bolts need to be. how far should they go into the bag? also how should I keep the bolts attached to the bags? it seems that they just screw in and thats it...

well I bought the kit and it just showed up at my parents house today I'm going over there and checking it out tommorrow...I found a build log that helped me out on s10 forum..it looks as if it lines up and bolts in where the stock shockmount location is at...then just have to drill some more bolt holes...Ill post some pics when I get it installed along with the 6 link...as for the vehicle its a s10...

is there? i'll try and find some...If they do skeletons I need to get an idea on how to do that...

well I'm working on a 95 dime and I've been gutting the interior since it needs to be replaced...I really want to glass the dash but I don't really know what I should do...should I use the stock dash and just glass over it or is there a better way? I don't know how I would be able to make one from scratch or I would...

I'm about to get a lrd 4 link bolt on with canti setup and bolt in step notch but I have no clue how to notch the frame...I have no idea on how to find the center point over the axle to put them in...this is the only thing I'm super worried about...I'm dropping 1600 on the kit but If I can't notch the frame evenly and in the correct spot it will suck...can some1 help me out?

I've never hear dd or dc subs in person before that's what makes me hesitant on those companies....also can't find prices on them..I know I can email rusty but how about finding the price on the dd? I have no dealers nearby...

but doesn't thor have a huge amount of power going to his subs? to be honest I haven't heard many setups with 10s and the 1s I have they weren't overpowering...thats why I have no clue what a 10 can do

pretty much...Im trying to make a setup that has great clarity with great lows, lots of midrange, and clean highs...I know it won't be a straight sq build since that takes lots of imaging..

not really sure what i kind of numbers I could get with that many subs and cone area...I never had 10s...I started with a crv 15 sealed and now have 2 18s in a 4th order...hell I don't even know how loud 140 is...I know what 148+ sounds like though lol

true..kinda for the wow factor lol...but then again I have to measure out the space that ill have to work with...if I could do 4 15s i know that would be way less expensive for the same results. hell if I could get 2 10s to do a 150 and hair tricks I'd way rather do that but that seems extremely far fetched unless I had a crazy amount of power

Im about to start on a 96 dime longbed and have a few ideas about audio. I plan on bagging truck so using the whole bed will be out of the question but I believe I'll be able to get about 10-12 cubes to work with. anyways I have a few ideas. I was thinking of doing 10-12 10s depending on the space tuned to about 35hz. I just can't figure out a particular sub...at the moment I'm thinking memphis pr series if I can find them, jl audio w1v2s or dc lvl 3's(depending on price). I really want to have a good musical setup that can achieve mid 40s. any opinions? I know the lvl 3s will take the most power but if the jls or memphis could do 40s I may try them..opinions?

i know lots of things can go wrong on a bike and not only do you have to be careful the way you drive but also aware of every1 around you and how they are driving. I don't really like to buy and sell stuff thats why I kinda want to go with a decent size bike so I don't have to sell it after a year or so...a gsxr600 is still up in the air..but I do for sure know I want a 600...I took a look at the yamaha fz6 and it seems like a better idea for me...plus I could buy one new for a little more than the used gsxr I looked at.

I was thinking of getting a 250 but then figured with a 600 I wouldn't have the need for getting a bigger bike. I've ridden dirtbikes and enduro's before though I've never ridden a sportbike.

ya I'd love to get a new one but I'm only 19 and have 0 credit..that's why I can't get a new 1. even if i got the bike I was looking at I'd have to pay it off before I could even take it from the shop

today I was up looking at some bikes and I came across a 2006 gsxr600 that had 8k on it. it was is good shape also except for a cracked plastic as if someone pushed it over. they were asking 5k for it tax, tag, and title included. I'm really thinking about it but is 8000 miles for a bike a lot?

I don't think 700 a rim is that bad...I was pricing 28s and that's when it gets a little overboard....It seems like a decent price for me...hell pretty much all 26 inch and up run a good amount compared to anything smaller...I would like to do 28s but I can't see myself dropping that kind of money for tires...I think pirelli 28 inch tires were at least 600 each... I'm just wondering if I should get black rims or chrome...

I'd imagine that black with chrome dials look awesome..I can't find a pic tho...
