The night shift gets the furniture in place so when we get there in the am we can load and go but they're job is also to open inspect then shrink wrap and prep. When I get there now we have to re open everything put blankets on it and reshrink wrap it. My and my helper do our job plus the same job the nihhtshift does but in 2.5 he's as appossed to the 8-10 they work...the 2.5 he's doesn't include the ten he's aday I deliver the junk

First of all I am a contract.delivery guy for.gardner.white furniture in detroit. I've been here for 7 years. Basically if I broke it down to show everyone how it works ud all see that the 13 contractors Pay the company to work there. It seems like the more money we make the more they take. The truck I lease throught them is 1700$ a month but that includes workmans comp and insurance for the truck. I recently found out that the pricks I work for pay 486$ for the truck. Great huh! They also have hourly paid drivers and helpers. Them along with every other employee in the warehas been getting a minimum of 200$ monthly as a bonus. Brokers and our help gets none. For a xmas bonus they gave us a choice of a ps3 xbox 360 or a 32 inch tv. Cool right- ---nope. We have to figure which one of us gets it. The broker or the help. The other one gets nothing.
