if you have the patience and a creative mind you can make some things happen. if needed you can always mount the amps in the seats and what not to get a little more airspace

i would say on the first picture id use a sawzall or a jigsaw. i also used a dremel with a little cut off wheel and it worked but slowly. i would only do that lip though and not go too much into that brace. in the second picture i would use a dremal with the cut off wheel. you need something small enough to get in there and be able to control it.

harbor freight tools as them for a couple bucks.

thanks for the info. i stopped by my local stereo shop and asked them. of course if they don't sell it then they have never heard of it and dont recommend it (like half the brands on here). but was sayin that in a boat the fiber glass or whatever needs more pitch to sound good so it would take some tuning to sound good in a car

is there a difference between car and marine speakers? or will they generally sound the same? i was looking at some infinity 6.5s and liked the look of the marine ones better, but would they sound as good?

i was thinking of going all rf power series. id have the t1692 in the bottom of the door and then 2 or 3 1652s towards the top of the door. this would be on both sides obviously and then probably 2 1652s on each side in the back seat area, so id probably end up doin 3 t400.4s its all going in a mustang, kinda goin for the WOW factor
