    Yeah, same here. I can't wait for this year of Geometry to finish. I was good at Algebra and liked it my freshman year. I have Algebra 2/ Trig my junior year. I can't see Algebra 2 being drastically harder.

    What Ed Lester told me was the an amp CAN indeed clip as a result of voltage drop, but it has to be extreme Like 7v, dropping to 12 or even 11 will not cause an amp to clip. That's still voltage drop, right?

    I didnt realize you were only a Senior...im a Sophomore haha. Now on topic- I think you should either build in this car, or sell the current one and buy a new one as a DD. Buying a whole new car is obviously expensive, and getting a 2nd car doesnt seem practical to me.

    It seems better to go for a HO alternator at this point than adding a few extra batteries.. Since this is for daily driving and not indoor demo's... You misread my post. I meant that between the alts and batteries, you should be okay at idle. At least on paper there should be no difference between SP or XP series in output voltage; 14.8V. But experience >>> paper. I thought the XP has a voltage regulator set to 15.1volts. I may be wrong, but im almost positive.

    Reading > me. With around 390amps of charging current when revving, im sure he'll still be fine. He may still be fine at idle with those 3 batts (if theyre really 75a and good).
