    I think the op was worrying about clipping. Use a 3.5mm wire (plug one end to mp3 player and other end to oscope) and oscope it. Also, oscope the sub output.

    Idk if SounDigital come with bass knobs, but you can buy an RCA level knob. SD is Soundigital. SA is Sundown

    Most amps are rated at 14.4 volts. I didn't want him to clip if he tried to get the 550 watts at say, 13.2 volts

    yeah, I'm stuck between an Ascendant Audio Havoc and DC Level 4 with lvl 5 softparts and an extra spider. I've hard good about both and the prices are about the same so I figured id look at the T/S parameters

    When using the sub in a daily system on music should the specs below be higher or lower? Or is there a range it should be in? I want to compare two subs. Here are the specs im talking about: Qes, Qms, Qts, Sd, Xmax, and Vas.
