  1. noticed you have the same car as me ( at least body style ) Where is a good spot to ground the amp?? I actually sanded down a little bit of the black bar underneath the rear seat, its what the seat belt is attached to Also is there a good position for the subs, without sealing them off from the trunk? Im going to throw together a single sub 1.75 cf enclosure tuned to 34 hz to test out my subs individually.. I have a AQ 1200D amp so @ 2 ohms it should see 700ish.. and what is the peak/cabin frequency of this car? When they were in my 96 grand am GT 2 door they were insane ( 147db 44hz on the tl off 2k rms ) But in this one they sound very "hollow" ?? I realize I may have a sub issue but just didnt know if the size of the car would make that much difference
  2. Yea. 2 of the leads were the tinsel connect to wiggle a little bit. So just drop a little solder on it or just heat up what's there
  3. Thanks again. I did that and when wiggled the tinsel lead on the one that was bouncing it actually held a steady number. That's what was weird
  4. Yep. I have dual 4 ohm coils. Just didn't know if it was supposed to be dead on. One was 3.6 one was 3.9 another was 3.2 then the wild one that was all over. It still plays but just sounds like crap , like I said especially when you turn it up
  5. Under the hood reads 13.86 volts. As well as at the amp. The remote/ground on the amp reads 13.35. Is that low?
  6. Thanks man. Yea they were all right around the same impedance except for the one which was bounding all over. What SHOULD they all read separately, with no jumpers on? And I noticed when I wiggled the tinsel lead it stayed on a number... It's really weird
  7. Also it seems to sound worse the more I turn it up. I set the gains with a dmm and as far as I can see everything on the HU is good to go. HU - jvc kw60bt ( brand new ) Amp- audioque 1200d ( brand new )
  8. Just hot the subs in my new car but only problem is they sound like shit. Hollow and quiet. And it's from the same setup I had before nothing was changed. So I checked each vc terminal with a dmm and one coil was all over the place and would hold on any particular number. What should each coil read when not wired , and or wired in parallel ? Subs are 08-09 model lvl 3 12s.

  10. I know it says any AGM charger with 2.4 V or less is ok, But this is just a cheapie one we had from Walmart for the jetskis... It does do a 2 amp slow charge, but just didnt know if it was the same as a 2 Volt charge http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-XCS15-15-10-2-Amp-Marine-Battery-Charger/15140196
  11. Alcohol.... Kills 2 birds with one stone... But I dont recommend it with Percocet...
  12. 3 MM is nothing .. 7 months ago I was in the ER twice, for stones.. I was one more visit away from being forced to go to a urologist to get the stint... Anywho , I consider to have a hi pain threshold and it brought me to my knees, and almost passed out from it... I had no Idea what it was... After I went the first time they gave me fluids and Percocet 7.5... ( That is an awesome drug fyi ) and I passed 2, that I strained... 3,5MM.. But the pain kept coming, so I went back a month later , got an ultrasound, and they found 31 visible stones, ranging from 4mm-9mm.. 17 of them were 6+ mm and were blocking my pipes, so all the water and fluids I got to try and pass them added even MORE pressure and bloating and made it worse.. so I was stuck to meds again.. ended up passing 8 more after the first 2.... Thats my story And like I said 3mm is nothing, you should pass them easily EDIT Oh and like Melisa said, they come without warning, and very sharp pains, that start from your lower back and travel around your side, then down to the urethra... Very painful little suckers if theyre big, or unless your Hank Hill
  13. no idea how this dudes running a 4S ( I have no idea what the 2P means ) but these cars ESC can only handle 2s and 3s in a lipo
  14. First impressions.. This thing is ridiculous... Period.. Insanely fast even with the dual stock Nickel 7.2s... I cant even imagine what the 2 7.4 Lipos are gonna be like.. Way to much fun, and wayyyy to long to charge these batteries with the stock charger.. 4 hrs each battery for a total ( when they are both charged of about 25 minutes run time
  15. Thanks again guys. I picked ip the midnight blue 1/16 e revo. Batteries ate charging on the slow ass 4 hr charger that came with it. I seriously need a good hi end charger for both nickel and lipo so throw some suggestions at me. I debated for abbot an hour in the store today between the revo, emaxx and The 2wd slash ( all vxl and 1/10 besides the revo ) but decided to go with mini me. Gotta stop off at Wally world and pick up some AA rechargeables tonight for the transmitter then home to rip around the driveway for a bit. Recharge the batts and be ready to roll tomorrow How bad is it to change the pinion?
  16. All different types of trucks bro.. What are you looking to do with it>??? That was the 1st question I was asked after 20 yrs out the game
  17. I like the Losi man, but Im NEW to this 100% .. Im not gonna drop big bucks on a Losi... yet..
  18. Honestly bro .. I appreciate the post, but you are the first peron in about 100 ppl that have said anything negative about the Revo 1/16 The slash 4x4 is ugly imo lol ( yea yea its a electric toy ) but still .. My NEXT RC will be a brushless Revo or a Emaxx
  19. goin to get this thing tomorrow. ( Traxxas 1/16 E-Revo ) So Im gonna be stock with the stock single 7.2 Battery for now until I get my 2 7.4 Lipos
  20. For sure.. Its to hard to buy 1 RC for 10 different types of terrain/drivin.. but I think the Mini Revo is a good start Then I would like a nice 1/10 jumper
  21. i THINK THIS HAS ENOUGH POWER FOR THAT... oops Nitros are being overtaken by these new brushless electrics.. Heres the Mamba monster I talked about earlier in the Emaxx http://traxxas.com/products/models/electric/3908emaxxbrushless-video
