  1. I'd try it with my mice but they are 2 1/2 years old, so they aren't really up to much
  2. Wall with 2 good 18"s, it would poop on his system. Get him to prove his '150' by TLing it, cause it is highly unlikely unless his box is epically amazing. Blazer with 4 15"s would be great too.
  3. Yeah, I'd like to see it, kinda has no use if it isn't for shows, but it's unique and interesting.

  5. I'd suggest doing it, I managed to, I just found the factory grounding point, and replaced the thin as 12awg with 2 250 to 300 amp straps, it works fine. It's a manual eh? I think I can remember from the vids.
  6. I reckon it would be pretty nice, you'd need to line your trunk with fiberglass though so it looks nice as, and inset the amps etc.
  7. And don't forget to put a 45 in the corner where the port bends, if it does bend. There is a box that tells you if it does or not.
  8. Nah, those are XLR or whatever, he just wants to put the sub and box in, no PA amps etc.
  9. You can't just double measurement unfortunately, you have to redesign the box.
  10. Strokers aren't PA, they are just really old school, they are proven too, great subs.
  11. Thats just my opinion, he doesn't have to listen to me. Yes, a lot of people think it's a waste of time and money, but I'm saying that compared to what he could do, I don't think it's worth it. 1 15" or even 1 12" designed for car audio and made by a proven brand would be a better choice IMO. Define "nasty", do you mean nasty thats horrible, or nasty thats great?
  12. I never said he can't. I said that I think it's a waste of time and money. PA woofers cones aren't as strong as car woofers cones, they also don't play as low. PA woofers like kicks etc. and probably like 60-120hz the best, rather than <60hz like car woofers play. PA woofers are very different to car woofers. He can try it, but I don't think it will turn out well.

  14. It's pretty stink that you had your little kid in the room while you're blasting music. Have you got any vids of the actual woofer? I'm guessing it's a PA woofer, meaning that if you put it in your car, you will need to put a whole lot of 6.5"s and tweeters in too, and face them out the back of the car. In other words, no, don't do it.
  15. Well, whether it's 1,2,3 or 4 boxes, I think you should go and hit the guy that made it, because it does look rather dodgy inside.
  16. Bigger is better within reason. You don't get a 2000 RMS 15" and put it on a stretsom 10k, the sub will die instantly. But having that 2000 RMS 15" on a 2.5k amp can be good because then you know you have a little extra power to make up for box rise etc.
  17. My iPod touch was scoped, and at max volume playing 0db test tones, there was no clipping. This was without any eq activated, as long as you keep it off or set to flat, it should be fine, but thats only for iPod touches and iPhones.

  19. I know this guy who uses cables with silver conductors, he says he can hear the difference, I call BS on that, but it's up to him. So, I say, use whatever you can afford.
