Hey guys, just wanted to post some pics, vids and results of this competition, i had a lot of fun, 53 cars on competition, a lot of stands, girls, people and exhibition cars, i took both of my cars to this event, the sexplorer for bass racing and the swift for demos and hairtricks, i ended up winning the 149.9 bass race class with the sexplorer and the crowd love and cheers with the swift´s demos, remember this is a small country and there isn´t too many ground pounders over here. Anyways, the sexplorer was pounding hard as always, thanks to Soundigital and Digital Designs for the support and making this amazing products, i´m still on first place on national´s 149.9 class with 2 comps left, hope i can be two years on a row KING OF BASS Panama!! This is me, drunk as always hehehe

that´s the same area of a single 6" aeroport, that´s why i suggested you that

mmmm , what car is it? maybe you could get port side configuration, also, why 2 4´s ? maybe you could use a single 6" aeroport? but imo that´s small port area for that box size, but i might be wrong, i´m not the best talking about aeroports and a Fi because the only box i built for that brand was for a pair of BL´s 15" with a slot port, and yes, they liked kind of a big port that time

That´s very true, car audio is fun as hell, i had 3 MTX 7500´s 10" in my swift, had 3 4" ports for them and that shit slammed, i changed to DD´s 1510 and didn´t sound that loud, changed to a single 8" aeroport and got a lot louder than the 3 4´s , and yes i tried a single 8" for my 3 MTX, it means that my DD´s liked bigger port than the MTX´s , so like Hugh said, depends on a couple of things besides sub and car, one of them should be box size.

Depends on the aplication hommie, a lot of people says that output doesn´t have to do with port area, that´s a fight i always have on forums haha, yes imo bigger port has bigger output and less port noise, but once again, depends on the aplication, try using a single 6" aeroport for a 2 c/f 12" sub box and then use a 10" aeroport on the same box, you´ll see that the smaller port would sound a lot louder and would get wider range of frequency

that´s why i recommended him only a gallon of resin, and just for your information, not always you are a louder by bracing the hell out a box, i dropped my score 1.2 dbs just by bracing a box for 2 10´s some months ago, guess it liked to flex a little bit hahaha

How come????? would like to know this, not the best brand ever but is not near to be junk my friend, they are very nice for the price, and just for your information, we tried a DD m3 vs brutus 2600.1 and the M3 got 0.5 dbs louder than the hifonics and to the ear, they sounded similar actually, not bad for a 350$ amp vs a 750$ amp

I love my hifonics, they do sound very nice, kind of loud for the money, never shot down and i if breaks down, parts are very cheap hehe, i have 2 bxi 2610´s strapped and i had also the 2608 two years ago, one of the best bang for the buck amplifier you can find imo, don´t get the HFI series, buy brutus bxi or brz line

Yes, fiberglass makes the box stronger, but in my case, i only use resin for smoothering the box, and also, i do think it makes my box stronger because i do my 45´s with it

you got my answer , and i think 2 gallons for your daily box should be more than enough.

Well, on the outside i wouldn´t waste my money unless it´s a burp box for spl comps, for daily just take care the interior and that´s it!

i dunno because i don´t live on the US, i guess home depot sell them?? and my personal rule for burp boxes, is to use a one gallon per 2 cubic foot of box, for daily depends on the size of the box, i have 2 gallons for a 11.5 cubic feet box and worked very nice...
