What up hommie? i use to think the same thing than you bro, but, we built my best friend´s Almera with 2 3515´s and 2 hifonics 2600.1 at the beggining, shit pounded HARD, then we changed to 9515´s with same hifonics and subs barely moved, still sounded way louder than the 3515´s wich sorprised me a lot really, now he changed to M4´s hehe. Well, if you wanna stay with 2 m3´s for a long long time you could stay with the 3515´s , but if you are planning to upgrade power very soon i would get the 3515´s , depends on you bro...

I had the kicker comps and they sound GREAT on sealed boxes dude, maybe i would get just a pair of 15´s on a good ported box, but 360$ for 6 12´s and the box sounds great hehe, besides it would be a WOW factor, once again, those subs sound very nice IMO

I´m not a big expert about mids, but in Venezuela you can find a lot of experts about it, we have th "open show" world champions and they always use ported for mids, i guess they sound better that way? i don´t really know, but just as a sub box, you would have to build a proper size ported for those specific mids so they can play louder than a sealed box i guess, once again, i don´t really have an own experience and besides that, they use those ported mid boxes for outside playing, maybe if they are for internal audio wouldn´t work that loud?

Well, depends on your likes, remember that we are from Latin America, on this side of the continent you can park your car on the street, open the trunk and get everybody dancing around, drinking and things like that, look it like a Disco on the street haha, then 45 cars get there and start doing the same thing!!! In Venezuela, we have the "open show" world champions, we use ONLY car audio equipments on some classes, and there´s a "freestyle class" wich you can use whatever you want, i don´t like "open show" but yes, those things get girls crazy dancing on the street and stuff like that hahhaa.

I built a 4.3 cubic feet burp box and 2 8" ports for a single DD 3518, i changed to a single 8" port just to play it with music and it actually sounded very nice, but needed more port!!

hahaha yeah man, that thing is pounding, roof has 2 layers of "guetto" dynamat, it has always been that strong actually, but yes the windshield is scaring me, i don´t want to crack it!! I really like those 6.5"´s , i have the same 4 mids for more than a year and a half, just took the mids from the back doors and got them between the seats hahaha, that´s part of the guetto system!! Anyways, they sound very nice, clear and they are CHEAP as hell, can take the abuse also, i really recommend them, what i don´t like it´s the Powerbass Tweeters if you are thinking on buying some, they are junk IMO; Thanks for the input hommie, glad you like this thing hehe Yeah bro, it is about to pop out, i´m gonna check the seals today, i don´t want to crack the windshield and spent money on that, i need the alternator for the sexplorer haha, thanks a lot bro, glad you like it!!

Yeap, 2 15´s should work fine, also 4 12´s fit easy with that space, 2 18´s would require big power but i can work, mike singer had around 4.5 c/f if i remember correctly for his TC Sounds on the Eclipse and that thing killed the 149.9 class, but, with a good amount of power!!

There´s something called impedance rise, and also you´ll have some voltage drops, so you´ll see 300 watts if you are lucky, this means you don´t have to worry about overpowering because you won´t hehe

you wanna know how cool and real murilo is?? i´m from Panama, i send him the money for the amplifier on saturday, international transfers takes 3 works days to get the money on the account, i sent him the confirmation of the transfer, he called Brazil and asked them to send me the amplifier from there even without the money available on the account on monday, amplifier took only a few days all the way from Brazil to Panama to arrive, this was done all by emails, i talked to him just one time on the phone, 2 months later, the sexplorer is undefeated on 149.9 bass race class with a crappy daily box without much work on it
